Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish Review

This is my absolutely favourite nail polish ! I just love this ! I mean you can't go wrong with the sally hansen range ! But this one does what it says !

I am all about my nails and love the gel look, but when this came out i was so happy that i didnt need to always get acrylics! You only need to buy this ones !

Packaging is great ! Decent size ! Fancy bottle with fancy shape of brush holder. The amazing thing about this is the brush ! I love love the brush, it just applies the nail polish so well !!

This definitely gives a gel effect and can often last one and half weeks ! You dont need to use top coats with this one because the shine it perfect ! Just love that you dont need to use UV light fot this. The texture of the nail polish is liquidy enough to apply and doesnt get thick overtime .

Leaves the nails smooth and shinny !

I have quite a few of these and i keep buying more because these are great !

I'd also like to share my experience: i went to buy this from one of the stores and i was told that you need the top coat that goes with it in order to use this. Luckily i had tried this so i knew how it worked for me. So i told the lady that i like to use it just by itself. So you actually dont need the top coat this one does the job itself ! :)

Try it because you wont be dissapointed ! :)

I was so excited to try this nail polish, so I rushed to get it as soon as it came out. I am a huge fan of Sally Hansen nail polishes and this one certainly doesn't disappoint! I've always wanted to try gel polish, but just couldn't justify forking out the dosh to get my nail done because my nails grow fast and I felt it would be a waste. So I was super excited to snatch this duo pack up for $15 at farmers, and at the time it was also 25% off. But I think $20 full price is a good deal.

Firstly, I am totally impressed with this nail polish. It lasted the 14 day test, with minimal chipping and wear. I applied two coats and I only got one small chip on the corner of one of my index fingers and a little bit of tip wear on my other fingers. You could even see my regrowth come through and that was the only reason why I removed the polish after about 18 days. If I didn't have bad regrowth I would have left it on for longer. It lasted a lot longer than normal polish and the colour or shine never faded.

The formula is smooth and easy to apply. It applies with no streaks and no tackiness. The brush is flat, rather than rounded, which also makes it easier to apply as you can coat your nail more evenly in less strokes. The brush is also quite large and flat which I like as it means the polish covers more of your nail. I can easily apply the polish in three strokes on my nail.

I was a little skeptical about trying this because I wasn't convinced that this nail polish would mimic the gel polish look without a UV or LED light. But I was proved wrong. The gloss was fantastic, really shiny and I loved the baby pink colour of pinky rings the colour I got. I didn't use a base coat like I usually do and surprisingly this polish was really easy to remove. The texture of this polish was a bit thicker than normal polish, but that was expected.

Over all I am loving this nail polish and am super impressed with the results. It was easy to use and is an affordable price, I would defiantly recommend buying it.

I bought the "Get it Bright" pink shade which is lovely and bright, and opaque after 2 coats. The gel finish means you have to apply it in a reasonably thick coat to avoid streaks. After using the gel top coat it stays on without chipping for at least a week for me - in contrast to regular polish which for me chips after a day or two! I think it's definitely worth it and it retails at a reasonable price. Large selection of colours too

I had a few colours of this product at home and would always do pedicures. Looked amazing and lasted pretty well too!

Fab range of colours at a reasonable cost i usually buy o special. The lighter colours dont apply as well as the darker colours and seem to streak! Best not to apply too much product as it goes on a bit gloopy. I apply 2 coats letting them dry in between using a cheapo nail dryer which is ok but its easy to scag your nails if your too impatient and dont let them dry properly so allow yourself plenty of time. I apply a third clear top coat to finish off. The finish is lovely prefer the gel but takes longer to dry but looks more professional. My nails probably last up to a week before chipping but that all depends on what ive been doing

After hearing a lot of the ladies on here talk about how amazing these are, I went to Farmers and purchased the shade Street Flair.

Nail polish is one of those things that never, ever lasts on me. I am super rough with my hands and I am usually lucky to get 2 days wear out of a polish before it starts to chip.

These come with two bottles; one with the colour and the other is the gel top coat. You apply the colour like a regular polish and then once that is dry, you apply the top coat on the colour.

With these, I get about 3-5 days wear before they start to chip at the edges of my nails. This may not sound like a lot, but for me that is amazing! If you aren't so rough with your hands then I would imagine that this would last longer. For me, however, this is unheard of and these are way less expensive than an OPI polish.

I was so impressed with this that I now own 4 shades:

Street Flair - a pale, muted pastel purple,

Blacky O - A deep black,

Redgy - A vibrant, bright red,

Birthday Suit - a pale nude.

The two deeper shades (Blacky O and Redgy), are super pigmented and need only one coat of colour. The lighter shades (Street Flair and Birthday Suit), aren't as pigmented and need two coats to get a decent amount of colour.

Overall, I will definitely be purchasing more of these 9particularly in dark shades), as they are the longest wearing polish I have used thus far. I recommend them!

I purchased these 2 colours as i already have all of the other shades from the original releases from last year. I will start with the different colours and application of each, then will get on to the polishes as a hole. "Game of Chromes" - one word LOVE! its the perfect glittery, without been glittery, sparkly gold. It applied like a dream, with only needing 1 coat instead of the 2-3 i would usually need with other colours. The glitter, which isnt a glitter, is more like sparkles, its so hard for me to find the words for what it looks like. This one is my FAVOURITE! "hunger Flames" - Purpley Pink and stunning! I had high hopes for this as i love Purple and it didnt disappoint. Application i used 2 coats to get that perfect base, it took about 15 minutes to dry, and the colour is nearly an exact match to what you see in the bottle. Now for the overall stuff. SH polishes have the best brushes, they are large enough that you really only need to swipe 3 times on each nail, for each coat, excluding pinky, which i used one swipe per coat. Drying time of both of these was 15 minutes max. Once the top coat is applied, my nails were shiny just like a decent Gel mani from a salon. The formula on these 2 in particular, are very different to the other ones i have. The polish itself is thin kind of like Orly and OPI, whereas the other more subtle shades (creme de la creme, Malibu peach etc) are in my opinion are more thick in texture. On my nails, these 2 colour lasted 9 days before fading at the tips, but please bear in mind that i use ISO and use my hands ALOT due to work. I think with all polishes, if you look after your hands and dont use ISO continuosly throughout the day, the colour would last MUCH longer. Removal, EASY! even GOC, its not chunky glitter, so is so simple to get off. do i reccommed? yes! I cant wait to get MORE of the new range, so these are a WIN!
