I am a huge nail fan and do different nails weekly. I have used probably 50 different styles of these and there too be so many that I still haven't tried. I admit my first application following the instructions took me awhile but with practice it gets better. This product provides the ease of nail polish but without the drying time and is easily removed with nail polish remover. I have had so many compliments and will definitely continuexcited to use this range.

Tips: First application seems difficult, awkward and time consuming. It is. However with a bit of patience and practice you will get faster. Totally worth the effort.
I found these on clearance at Postie and picked up two colours, I had heard loads of people raving about them and was super excited to try them out!
Unfortunately, I tried to apply one pack to my nails and the strips were very stiff and hard to apply. Maybe I just had a dud pack but I still wasn't very impressed.
I tried the other pack later and they were super easy to apply and looked like I had been to a salon! My nails were super glossy and a gorgeous neon pink, I got so many compliments on them!
However just a few days later they started to chip off and had tiny hairline cracks through them, which was rather strange. I took them off that night with polish remover and they came off really easy with no damage to my nails.
I would try these again, however I just couldn't justify paying full price for them if they only last a few days.
I went to one of those big bucket makeup sales and the diagonal checker strips were like $2!! I though meh why not aye!?
Really super easy to apply I just washed my hands and made sure they were dry and clean, you choose the size best suited to your nail bed, lay down flat and I just sort of pulled over the edge of my nail and it just snaps off , easy peasy!!
Then you just press them down all over your nail and make sure any free edge is nicely tucked under your nails. You can file off any over hang if need be.
I got a lot of comment on how good they looked. My nails were just about 3 mms free edge growth so they looked good on short nails too.
I work in retail and am always using my hands to rip up boxes, replenish shoes on the shelves etc. Barely any lifting from the strips and no chipping.
They last about 10 days before I had to change them. So I was impressed!!
Id definitely use them again , they are quick and easy to apply.
Tips: Go slowly and only use the right size.
If you're careful enough you can get another set out of the strips.
Nail polish strips like this are perfect especially when you want to look like you put in heaps of effort on your nails but don't want to spend heaps of time doing them.
The Sally Hansen strips are easy to work with and apply, they're also quite flexible so can be manipulated slightly if you need to adjust one to fit your nail. They also require minimal drying time once your top coat is applied which is a bonus too. These are REALLY long lasting to the point where they pretty much only come off once you decide to remove them. They also don't chip easily either - mine last for about 3 weeks before I see any chipping on my nails.
I do find that if you have any unused strips from an open packet and want to use at a later date, they do dry out fairly quickly.
I also found that applying them on my nails when they were longer was easier, especially when you're removing the excess part of the strip. It gets a bit tricky (and sore) trying to remove excess when your nails are short.
I purchased a few packets of these after having used Minx brand nail strips. I was hoping for a similar result with these but they didn't come close. I have rather wide nails which I grow long, I found it really difficult to stretch these to fit my nail without tearing them, I found they weren't sticky enough to stay put on one side with trying to stretch them over to the other. After managing to waster 2 packets trying to get both my hands finished , I gave them 2 coats of clear top coat. within 2 hours they had already chipped and started to lift at the sides.
For me these just weren't worth the effort. Such a shame as some of the patterns and colours are awesome :(
Tips: Would be better suited to smaller narrower nails
Love these!
Although I am a gel-nails girl now, I used to use these all the time and definitely recommend them.
They are so easy to apply, just remove the backing, put on your nail, file off at the tip and then remove the front tape. I actually even applied them in the car during a road trip to Hamilton. I had so many comments on my nails that night!
They last pretty well, I would normally wear mine for around a week. They definitely last longer than normal nail polish, but shorter than gel polish.
Highly recommend these for party nails, special occasion nails, or if you're just like me and like to rock the nail art.
Tips: They are sometimes tricky to remove (depending on the design), I recommend soaking them off the way you would with gel nails. Tin foil and acetone-soaked cotton balls does the trick.
I got given these as a birthday present a little while ago and thought I'd do a review on this beauty product. Its quick, easy and you wait no time for it to dry! It's easy to remove which is good for me because normal nail polish leaves bits left over on my skin. I found this product to be really good for my nails, and it's good for people that are not very skillfull using normal nail polish, as it can be a tricky thing! It's like going to the salon, only in the comfort of your home!
Tips: I would advise you to not leave them in the sun or not use them for long periods of time as they dry out over time and then they are not useable.
I had to grab these as soon as I saw they had skull and crossbones patterns :D I've used nail strips before so I didn't have any issues applying them - they were easier than some other brands I have used.
I find that with all nail strips they last a lot longer on your toenails.
These stuck down well to my nails and didn't leave any gaping sides. I put a topcoat over them and they lasted about a week before starting to come off, which is a lot better than the OPI ones I tried...
I will purchase these again and recommend them to everyone! Everyone should try them as they're so easy to use and come in a variety of designs.
The only thing I didn't like is there aren't a whole heap of designs that personally attract me but I am picky :P
Tips: Look out for these at Postie Plus to get them cheaper :)
From the get go I found these really hard and confusing to use. The instructions did not have enough information to make things easy to understand how to actually apply them.
I was really hoping this would be and easier mess free way to get a quick manicure. But no, it was so hard to find the right size and to actually figure out how to apply them. They have different film layers to protect them but I couldn't see any where that said which to take of and which to leave on etc.
There could be more instructions to make things easier and clearer but I am pleased that these have lasted quite well. I don't use gloves to wash the dishes and it hasn't harmed the finish.
Tips: Take your time and do keep sticky things (like sticking plasters) away from the nails. They are a bit soft the first day but are harder by the next day.
