When I saw this primer in our last beauty box I was excited to try it. To be honest I don't really use primers under my make up. But since my skin has changed into being acne prone I find that I need to have that extra coverage.
This little sample tube I got seemed to last me a few weeks. Its a ten ml bottle that I got many uses out of it. When I apply this on my face it covered well. It has a slight greasy after feel. It looks like a medium thickness cream. It has a slight scent to it.
My results from using this was minimal coverage, I found it to almost disappear into the skin. I wasn't happy with the greasy after feel. I definitely wouldn't go out and buy it for its price tag. I think its overly priced.
I love Shiseido products and was excited to receive this Glow Enhancing Primer in the Beauty Review March Beauty Box. Also I’m not one for using primer usually so I was very curious to find out how much difference it would make to my make up.
The product comes in a cute silver tube with a black cap. It is very classy looking in tune with Shiseido’s usual sophisticated branding. It is a white cream, and is soft and simple to use and apply. I didn’t notice any scent.
The product describes itself as an oil-free primer that enhances skin's clarity, for a brilliant quality that adds a natural, vibrant glow to the finish of various foundations all day long. It is non greasy and does absorb into the skin quite easily. I find it leaves a light coating that helps my foundation glide on smoothly and evenly, but I don’t notice a glow that lasts all day unfortunately.
It is a nice product and somewhat helpful in improving my foundation, but for $65 I could never justify purchasing it myself. I would be happy to discuss it with my friends, but I’d be reluctant to actually recommend they buy it, as the outlay is big for anyone who only finds it ‘nice’ like I did.
Tips: For dedicated primer connoisseurs, it might be good to look out for this product on a good special buy in order to try it without the big cost.
