Sigma Brow Expert Kit Review

This is a nice brow kit. You have a brow powder in complimentary shades, one darker shade for the arch and one lighter shade for the rest of your brow. I have it in medium, since the lighter shade has that taupe undertone which I like since I like more cool toned brows and the other shade is much darker by has a neutral undertone. My hair is black brown so it compliments my hair color. There's a neutral, beige pinkish highlighting brow duo which is could be used as an eyeshadow. One side is matte and the other side has a bit of shimmer. I could use the shimmer side as a highlighter on my cheekbones and on my face but I prefer to use my regular highlighters on my face. You have a brow wax pencil which helps to hold your brows in place. Personally I prefer to use a brow gel because, I already get hard pan with my brow powders as it is without putting a waxy product on my brows first. I haven't used another brow wax before so I don't have anything to compare this to but it does hold your brow hairs in place and makes the powder really stick, although I've never had a problem with the brow powder not sticking to my skin or the brow hairs. Also included is a sharpener for the brow wax pencil. You get a dual ended angled brow brush and spoolie which to be honest is the only type of double ended brush I like since they're easy to clean, dry and store without damaging one end. The brow brush is firm, thin and small which I personally prefer since it's easier to make finer strokes with and get more natural looking brows. Finally you get some slanted tip tweezers and a small pair of scissors to trim and pluck your brows. Which are handy and I needed. All and all this is a great kit. Personally I would prefer if the wax pencil and the sharpener would've been replaced with a brow gel. It's all formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil and casein. If you want a more polished natural brow and have plenty of brow hair like me this is a good buy to make them look groomed.
