This is a nice light-medium coverage foundation. I found it covered redness well (not that I have that much or extreme redness) but didn't cover dark circles well (but that's to be expected of a light coverage foundation). It blends very well over the skin and is definitely a dewy finish foundation. If you have oily skin I would definitely advise you to stare clear of this one. I do like that is has some sun protection (SPF 18) although don't rely on this alone if you are going to be in strong sun as this is not a high enough level to offer enough sun protection but I find it good for everyday wear. I quite like the scent, it's quite floral, but I don't notice this after applying it really. Although it is a good light foundation, I probably won't repurchase as I prefer my rimmel wake me up to this.

Meh- this foundation was actually better than I expected considering how little it cost. I wasn't a fan of the super strong scent- my skin is problematic at best so I tend to steer clear from really fragrance heavy foundations. Not great- didn't have great lasting power and oxidised a wee bit. If you have pretty good, non senstive skin then this might be a goer. All in all, with foundation you tend to get what you pay for.
It feels like second skin, it's got a nice medium coverage but is totally build able and can be sheered out. It doesn't dry instantly so you have tons of time work it into the skin, it looks really natural and definitely not cakey in the slightest. It's super affordable too! I got mine from Kmart for less than $20. I prefer it over other drug store foundations for sure. It feels very luxurious, I love it!
Tips: I would suggest applying it with a flat top kabuki brush, it sits on the skin much better that way. It's very thin so it works best when it's worked in with a dense brush.
I love this. Rimmel is so well priced compared to other foundations out there, and in my oppinion very underated! This goes on well, doesn't look cakey and it natural.
I picked the Rmmel Match Perfection on Hoilday. My current foundation was to pale with the on set of summer! I must say I love it ! It was a great summer foundation light weight my natural skin could still breath ! My skin looks amazing wearing this gorgeous product ! It sets soft and natural looking . Thiis foundation held up well in the long wear department ! Out in the sun for sevrat hours ( thanks to 18spf) stopped for lunch checked my make up stilling pretty great ! ( my poor sister inlaw in a more expensive brand was having the make up slide she asked me what I have been using she was so surprised ) My only disappointment was I knocked it in to the basic and it smanhed in to a million pieces ! Pick up a new one the next day $10 can't complain !
It looked great on my skin! I was able to match a colour perfect to my skin tone and it blended in well and looked as if I was not wearing any make up. Although it did make me break out after just one day wearing it, so not my exact favourite for my skin type
A gorgeous everyday foundation that definitely lives up to its ‘radiance’ claims. I own this product in Light Porcelain, and it is very, very fair- perfect for my even-lighter-than-NW10 skin. It has a good balance of pink and yellow tones and gives a very smooth, porcelain-like finish to the skin. The finish is natural to dewy, so some days I find myself needing powder touchups. If you have oily skin this may not be a the best option for you as it is very moisturizing, but it could be too rich for certain skin types.
Coverage is light to medium- it evens out the skin tone beautifully but wont cover extreme freckles or breakouts. The texture is quite slippery- I use my fingers to apply because I lose less product and have more control. I really like the texture, but one drawback is that it makes it a bit more difficult to do layers of the foundation to build up coverage. I love how it seems to melt into the skin though…
It claims to be a ‘skin-tone matching product.’ I personally am always wary of this sort of marketing- I do not believe that foundation is ‘intelligent’ enough to understand what tone your skin is, and so getting the right undertone of foundation is purely coincidental- ‘matching’ technology offers more of a placebo effect.
On the back it claims to ‘last all day.’ Due to its lightweight and blendable texture I do think that it tends to move around a little throughout the day, so make sure to use a good primer and have powder on hand. Overall though, I’m satisfied with the wear time, it doesn’t oxidise to weird colours and it even survived my 60min cardio class at the gym yesterday evening- success.
You get 30ml of product, and it comes in an elegant glass bottle with a blue lid and a pump that allows you to control product dispensing well- is anyone else sick of packaging that gives you 3x more than you need? Top marks for the dispenser on this one. It also smells very nice- a fresh floral scent that isn’t too in your face (heheh see the pun there?)
Side note: this product is spf 18, but as this is low I’d definitely recommend having an extra layer of sun protection on your face or you may get le sunburn.
Take home message: this is a lovely light to medium coverage foundation that enhances your natural skin. A 'drugstore' gem- I will definitely repurchase.
*Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation gets the -Nina- tick of approval*
Tips: Get it from Farmers (or asos, especially when they have it for $10, if you don’t mind waiting a bit).
I only just recently got this product and I was extremely impressed! It covers 90% of my redness, pores and blemishes. Has an amazing lightweight feel and doesn't give off a cakey look. The only downside I had was hoping for just a little more coverage as some of my pimple scars came through (I have fairly bad skin), other than that I would recommended for sure!
Tips: Use a mineral primer to give yourself a flawless finish! Also adds to the staying power for the days when you are on the go (:
I definitely think I got the wrong shade of this, which doesn't help at all. Despite that, I tried it out any way.. For me it was a tad drying, I like my foundations to be a little more luminous. I found this almost had a 'powdery' finish to it. The coverage is amazing! I would recommend this for those with more oily skin, or if you prefer a more matte finish
Tips: Use a flat top brush or damp sponge to apply
I use this as my daily foundation as its nice and light but gives good coverage. I have oily skin and it has good staying power with a setting powder. My shade is a perfect natural match.
Tips: Use a setting powder for longer staying power
