This has great packaging - an opaque bottle (anti-UV) with a pump lid (anti-germs and mess-free dispensing) and a protective click lid (for travelling). It's clinical-looking, but it sits in my drawer, so I don't need pretty.
The cream is very liquid, so it's quick and easy to apply, as it smooths onto the skin almost like water. Then the magic happens... at least for me it does. It quickly melts in to a silky, velvet finish that makes my skin look more even-toned and polished, but super natural. It's really comfortable to wear too, even for my dry skin. It's not super hydrating though, so in winter I definitely use it as a calming, smoothing base, where it works beautifully with a moisturising foundation. But in summertime, on humid or very outdoor-active days when I don't want sweat-inducing thick creams on my face, I just wear it on its own as my all-in-one moisturiser, sunblock and light foundation, and it's brilliant. It still looks good at the end of the day, and I've never felt the need to reapply it – and I've never had sunburn.
I have pale, sun-sensitive, dry and chemical-sensitive skin, and this mineral stuff absolutely rocks! It's quite expensive, but because of its consistency, a little goes a REALLY long way. I don't know how it would be for oily skins, but it claims to be great for both dry and oily, and if its performance with my skin is anything to go by, I'd say it's worth a shot, no matter what your skin type.
Tips: Use it alone in summer for a 'my skin but better' look. And use a much smaller amount than you'd normally expect.
