Garnier BB Cream All-In-One Perfector Anti-Age SPF 25 - vault shade: medium

I’ve never found a BB cream that I’ve liked so I was a bit dubious about this product. Well Garnier changed my mind! This cream didn’t slide off my face like others have. It is light and not at all oily and leaves a lovely finish. Great for when you don’t want full on cover. I did try applying more to see how it looked and was quite happy with that result too. The colour I chose was perfect for my fair skin. I will definitely use this again.

I had high hopes for this bb cream, it smells lovely and is easy to get out of the tube. It appears to be quite thick, but goes on well. However coverage is very sheer and not enough for me. I wore it on its own and under my favorite foundation and I preferred it under as a base. I love the fact that it has spf 25, and is very moisturizing. But I really wanted more coverage. I like how moisturizing it is, but the coverage is so sheer its more like a moisturizer than any sort of foundation. I found it made my skin quite shiny too.. I'll use it up but probably won't repurchase it.

I am 50+ and have enjoyed trialing the BB cream Anti Age from Garnier. It is a foundation, hydrating care and SPF25 all in one.

I have used the BB cream self-adjusting cream SPF15 from Garnier for a few years. I find this product even better.

The cream's light brown mixes very well with the skin. I can choose how much coverage I want by adding a bit more cream. As certainly many of you can relate, I am working with a face mask on and the cream didn't transfer onto the mask.

I have been applying half a pea size amount of the BB cream every morning. It is very light and fluid. Easy to apply. No fragrance, no sensitivity. I really enjoy using it. It penetrates my skin nicely and I can exercise without having it running down my face. My skin looks nice and healthy. The tube is easy to open and close.

The box is made of 100% recyclable cardboard box. Although the volume is identical to the previous BB cream, 50ml, the tube is smaller and made with 49% less plastic. I highly embrace this idea.

I would recommend the product to my friends 50 and over. My skin was instantly intensely hydrated and looked even.

This BB Cream comes in a cardboard type tube using 49% less plastic which is better for the environment. The product dispenses nicely with not too much coming out at once.

I used the light colour and found it to be more of a light/medium so if you have very light skin this would likely be a bit dark. Even on my skin it was a bit darker than what I would normally use.

This contains hyaluronic acid to help keep your skin hydrated and with aloe vera extract to quench the skin. It also contains mineral pigments for a radiant finish. Plus SPF 25.

For me this formula didn't sit well on my skin, it clung to dry parts and was a bit streaky and was very shiny as if it contained an oil. This also made my eyes water even when I didn't apply it around my eyes. Unfortunately I won't be using this again even though I gave it a thorough test, I would rather add some moisturizer to my foundation.

I'm a BB cream lover and was really looking forward to trying this out because of the anti ageing and the SPF 25 factor. I like a light coverage which is why I like using a BB cream as a small amount goes a long way. I usually squeeze a small nail sized amount on the back of my hand and I used a brush to blend in onto my face as I feel this gives me the best coverage. Overall I found this BB cream to go on and cover my face well and left me with a lovely colour that was natural. It wore well over the day and and one could easily reapply if needed without looking like one had caked on makeup. Face still felt hydrated after wearing so that was a bonus and loved how it didn't cake up in my fine lines around my eyes. Has a pleasant smell and didn't irritate my eyes like some have in the past.

What I like:

- It provides very light coverage that's perfect for "no makeup" look as it still shows freckles and other natural things that make my skin look normal. It does softens fine lines and evens out the skin a little bit.

- It's very hydrating, I don't need to wear any moisturiser underneath. With bonus spf 25.

- The cream glides smoothly on my skin.

- The light shade is perfect for me.

- No strong scent, always a winner.

- Cardboard tube is surprisingly sturdy and pleasing to the eyes while being good for the environment.

What I don't like:

- Putting more layers doesn't give me increasing coverage. Therefore it doesn't deliver that claim on the box.

- Way too shiny, it makes my skin looks super wet, as if my face is sweating oil. Even my kid commented on that. Didn't make me look glowy. I had to tone it down with a lot of powder.

- Something in the formula caused my skin to breakout with a few pimples. I think it's also way too moisturising for my combination skin.

I think it's more suitable for winter use and for people with dry skin type. Pity that, as I do like the shade.

I have been using Garnier BB Crème for a few years now and presently using Garnier SkinActive BB Anti-Ageing Cream which seemed to be doing an okay job. But then I tried the new Garnier SkinActive Anti-Age All-in-1 Perfector and loved it! Like the description “All-in-1” it does everything. It’s a foundation, covers fine lines and has SPF 25. What else do you need in a cream? No more putting on layers and layers to ensure the skin has protection against UV rays, as well as a foundation and a moisturiser. This cream claims to provide 24hrs hydration. I have a night regime so before going to bed I remove the daytime products and apply night products. I can’t comment on 24hrs hydration, but my skin does feel soft and healthy all day long, so it must work. To top it all, I love the fact the tube is made of 49% less plastic, comes in 100% recyclable cardboard box and is FSC certified. Good on you Garnier!

When I first received my product I was a bit disappointed as the shade was 'light' and I would normally use a 'medium tone but was delighted that it was actually darker than what I would class as light. Application was very easy and sheer but it did blend my freckles in. I would recommend a corrector if you have the odd spot though. As for the SPF factor, I didn't use the product while playing tennis so couldn't comment on how good it was. Overall I was very happy with the BB cream

This applied nicely to my face and had a very light pleasant fragrance. It wasn't heavy on the face either. I would like to try the shade medium (I got light) to compare as I normally like a little more coverage so I can wear it alone at times. It didn't hide all my sunspots that my current bb cream does. You don't use a lot of this so a tube will last a reasonable length of time. I am looking forward to seeing long term benefits with this and will definitely purchase it again.

The packaging is a green and brown cardboard box containing a 50 ml green and brown tube with a flip top cap. This BB cream is a thick, creamy consistency which is easy to apply. A light pleasant fragrance which does not linger on skin. I found that a pea sized amount is good for a light coverage, more can be added and blended in for extra coverage. It lasted most of the day with a light touch up of extra BB cream. This 50ml tube is going to last at least 6 weeks and is economical for the price compared to similar products. The tube is made from 49% less plastic. The ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera and mineral pigments for a smoother finish. Also the SPF25 is an added plus. My face felt smoother, and hydrated and I highly recommend this BB Cream.
