Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

This cream is thicker than the standard Garnier BB cream and has a nice light fragrance. It spreads over the face easily - I found fingertips easier than a brush. It gives great cover without being heavy on the skin. I was a bit sceptical about using it without my usual "intense" moisturiser as I have dry skin but it was fine. Friends said I was "looking well" so they noticed a difference. I didnt use it long enough (just 8 days) to test out the "firmer skin" claim. Overall its great. I would buy it.. And its very reasonably priced in the shops. Packaging was fine and minimal and the box was a true indication of the tube size.

The product went on easily and evenly. There were no lines as it blended in nicely. It reduced the size of enlarged pores or gave a nice, even tone. It was really light and so I didn't feel like I had make up on but rather a moisturiser. It also reduced how red I looked in the afternoons as I always go red late in the day. Overall It was a fantastic product that I will definately be using again.

Love it, love it, love it! I would definitely use it again, in fact I am going to replace my current brand that I have been using for the last couple of years with this product! It goes on really well, smoothly and easily without streaking and without "dragging" across your skin like some of the thicker heavier ones do. It also has a really nice fragrance. It doesn't clump or go on thick on any drier areas of skin on your face. It also doesn't "melt" or settle into the fine lines on your face so you definitely get a smoother and younger looking finish. It also blends well on your face so gives you a really nice even finish as it does a really good job of covering blemishes and marks on your face. Even though it does a very good overall coverage job it still feels light on your skin and it doesn't block your pores like the heavier thicker ones do and the lovely finish lasts all day too. It is slightly more expensive than the current brand that I was buying but the results are far superior and also you use less so it probably works out cheaper. The tube nozzle dispenses the cream easily and well so it is easy to get the right amount that you need out. I think this product does what it claims to do and I would definitely recommend this to my friends!

First, the positives - Garnier's BB Cream goes on smooth and creamy, and feels nice and light on the skin. I had the light shade which was right for me and gave a very natural, no-makeup look. It's moisturising enough to use on its own or over top of my regular moisturiser. The negative - there's only one - it's a little too light. I found I needed to top it off with some of my regular foundation to get a really even look. Still, I would use it in the weekends or when my skin is at its best. It definitely saves time, and you only need a tiny amount.

Am always skeptical about a product which claims to have anti ageing properties by firming your skin, but this actually does what it says! My skin felt amazing, it looked like I had no makeup on and my skin tone was completely even. Even after a hard night in the kitchen (Im a head chef) my skin was still looking good. Im now wearing this everyday where as before I just didn't wear any foundation type creams as they always "slide" once I get into the kitchen...LOVE this product!

My first and lasting impression of this BB cream is the fragrance. And unfortunately it puts me off it. I think it works as an illuminating base and I did like how it blended with my other foundations. If you want a dewy sheer look this will satisfy. I found I still had to apply concealer as it didn't give me as much coverage as I would like. I am undecided as to wether my skin felt firmer. It does tend to sit on the surface of my skin, and I found it did transfer onto things like my phone. It is nice, and does give a soft dewy look, I just can't stand the Garnier fragrance. Thats my personal preference. I will continue to use it as a base or add it to my other foundations.

I was pleased to have the opportunity to review this BB cream as I have never used a BB cream before. I have used anti aging products and daily moisturisers with UV protection and was hoping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and smooth out any uneven skin tone.

The outer packaging wouldn't grab my attention from the store shelf but the tube was easy to use and store.

I was surprised by the thickness and dark colour of the "light" variant I had chosen but I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was easy to apply how well the colour blended in. The cream "disappeared" on application.

Immediately after applying it I could feel a tingling sensation that lasted a few minutes (I hope this was just the miracle trying to occur! Certainly there was no long lasting problem or irritation).

My skin felt smooth after application but there was a slight tackiness and I was not keen on the product's smell.

I liked the idea of the UV protection and was pleased how easily it blended into my skin but sadly neither myself or my partner could really see any significant difference in the appearance of fine lines or skin tone after application.

This product exceeded my expectations. From the pleasant " fresh" scent when I applied it to the healthy glow it gave my skin. The texture is quite thick and creamy but goes on sheer. Most days I applied 2 coats- especially around nose area, to achieve the desired coverage. It didn't sink into wrinkles like a lot of foundations do- infact it did tend to " blur" them & make less visible. My skin type is dry/ normal & I did notice my skin did get a little greasy looking by the end of the day. Overall, I thought this was a very good product- ecxeptionally good value for money. I have used BB creams from a lot of other more expensive brands including Bobbi Brown & Christian Dior. This was just as good

I found this product very easy to apply. It is nice and light on my skin. I didn't feel that my skin felt any firmer. I think I will need to use it for a longer period of time to see if it reduces the appearance of wrinkles. All in all still a very nice feel product to use.
