Average, but cheap.

I got this in a weird colour and I didn't love it. I would probably not mind this in a pinker colour that I got, but I didn't love the product regardless. It didn't blend that well as looked unnatural. Also too sparkly

Affordable and pigmented

This blush is amazing! I find this blush pigmented and long-lasting! The pigment is also great and it gives your skin that glowly and sun-kissed look! Besides it's performance, I also like the brush that came with the compact because it makes the product travel friendly and easily accessible for touch-ups. The only thing I do not like about this product is the packaging! The packaging breaks and cracks easily.

Apri-cot in The Middle

This shade looks like it's just a shimmery blush in the pan which I don't mind, but once I applied it, the glitter was obvious. I'm not a fan of glitter in blush and I found the shade would not show up on my skintone which surprised me (tan olive). I tried layering it but that built up the glitter too. Tapping the brush off before applying did not remove the glitter. This blush is definitely not right for my skintone or deeper as it barely shows up, but it would look nice on a fair skintone, provided they don't mind the glitter.

Not bad... but not for me.

My cheeks don't do pink. As in, they don't pink up. I'm ghostly. Pasty. Flushless. I love a good blusher, especially if it's affordably priced. I'd heard many a good think about Wet n Wild's Colour Icon Blush, so I picked it up in the shade Pearlescent Pink.

The packaging is plain - but it does the trick. I applied it using my Wet n Wild blush brush (the one with the pretty pink, shiny handle) and it applied beautifully. The pigment packed a punch, and it blended out well. HOWEVER... it was so pearlescent it emphasised every pore on my cheeks. I had to take it off.

I tried it another day in case it was just a bad skin day, but the same happened again. While shimmer can do this, I do have other shimmery blushes that don't - so I'm guessing the formula's just too fabulous for me, but I do think it would look amazing on someone else who is less pore-full.

Shade:Apri-Cot In The Middle

I purchased this after seeing it in a Youtube tutorial. I'm relatively new to blush and thought this would be a good beginner shade. Compact is plain black with a window about 2/3 the size of the compact. You can clearly see the product through this window which I find helpful in selecting the right colour for a look at a glance.

It's a lovely apricot shade with fine gold shimmer. Does have a bit of fall out but I think it's just the glitter. Does have a faint cosmetic type scent. On my skin tone it is a very faint blush. I have tried to build it up but then it looks like I have a concentration of glitter which I need to buff out.

I think this is a good shade to use if you are going for a suttle look with a hint of colour. I am not a fan of glitter in blush so I think I will avoid that in future. I would repurchase this if I could find this same shade but as a matte with no glitter. It's a really beautiful colour.

Fantastic plastic pink!

Being fair, I found this super super pigmented- so it took a few goes to realise I needed so little and that I needed to blend blend blend!. Comes with a little blush brush, and as this applies so brightly I'm not sure you could apply successfully with it anyway. Once applied perfectly it stayed nicely under powder and setting spray. For the cost I would certainly buy again!

Tips: A little goes a LONG way it is ++ pigmented

Too Much

WnW blushes have a bit of an amazing reputation in the internet beauty world, and so when I came across a few at a beauty sale I was over the moon. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck with these blushes... but for me that hasn't actually been that great.

I picked up the colour "Heather Silk", which is a fairly bright, blue-toned pink. I should probably say that this isn't actually a great shade for me to start off with: it's very cool-toned, and doesn't look very natural on my fair, yellow-based skin. If you have cool undertones this shade would probably look great - it is stunning, just doesn't work as well for me.

The packaging is pretty standard: plastic, with a clear flip lid. Not too flimsy, but I wouldn't recommend chucking this in a handbag, as the top can open unexpectedly sometimes. It comes with a little flat brush, which I don't personally use, but it would do in a pinch.

The reason these blushes are so hyped-up is that the pigmentation is INSANE. It's hard to describe how pigmented these are. You have to be super careful when applying, and barely touch the brush to the surface to pick up too much product. I do find that it can be a bit powdery and easily unsettled from the pan, which can be messy.

It seems crazy to complain about good pigmentation, but that's really the reason I don't particularly like using this blush. It requires so much work to make sure that it's blended out enough and I don't look like a clown. If I'm in a hurry (and let's face it, I'm always in a hurry in the morning), this just takes way too long to apply.

So I won't be repurchasing this or other shades. If I want a blush in the same price range, I'd much rather go for Jordana blushes which are pigmented but easy to apply.

Tips: Apply lightly with a stippling brush and tone down with pressed powder if necessary.

Wet n Wild Colour Icon Blush

This is a very pigmented blush, and I LOVE highly pigmented items but it crossed over to like a face paint status, a bit to much colour and shine. I would say its suited for darker skin tones as im a pale tone and they were to much for me, very silky and smooth though, no breakouts and stayed put when on. This is an affordable blush I paid around $8 so didnt break the bank on it.

Way too pigmented for fair skin

Usually I complain about products that have no colour payoff however this product is much too pigmented for me, I bought the shade Mellow Wine which is a lovely matte dusty rose shade but it is so dense that it makes me look ruddy and overdone even with the lightest touch on my brush. Good formula, velvety and smooth however just not great for me and none of the other shades suit me so I will give this a miss. Would be fab for deeper skintones though I can imagine.
