A beautiful neutral toned bronzer. The colour is lovely on the skin, not too cool toned or to warm toned making it a great product to both contour and bronze the skin.
Very buildable formula and layers well with other cheek products.
Easy to use formula but I do find if you are accidently a little to heavy handed or distracted while applying it can on occasion look a little "muddy" on paler skin tones and takes a while to blend back to normal.
Tips: A beautiful colour to use on the eyes to create natural definition as well as using on the cheeks!
Although this isn't my most grabbed bronzer, I do love layering over my elf primer infused bronzer which is my daily most loved bronzer especially if I want to add a little glow as it has small shimmers in it and I want it to match with my fake tan. I use this more in the summer as I love the luminosity it gives me
Tips: I apply a little over my collarbones and shoulders too and no issues.
This is over-hyped, over-priced and under pigmented.
I've never understood the hype for this bronzer as it has basically no pigment, even when built up, it doesn't show up on my skin and I'm light-medium.
Its also incredibly over-priced for what you get, there isn't a lot of bronzer in here for the price and pigment, there are far better drugstore/cheaper alternatives than this one.
Save your money, don't buy it.
This is one of my all time favourite go to bronzers. Nars always delivers a high quality with their cosmetics so you know you’re not gonna be disappointed when you purchase. This bronzer is one of my favourites because it’s a perfect blend of a warm and cool tone to give the most natural shading for facial contouring and bronzing. It blends beautifully over a powdered base.
Tips: I try start the bronzer closest to the hairline and work my way out and down avoid streaky bronze lines on the face.
I love this product for bronzing and contouring. Although I love this product I do prefer the matte version. Nars also tests on animals so I always keep that in mind when purchasing makeup. Overall good staple bronzer.
Tips: Always use lightly and build up coverage as it is a soft buildable bronzer.
I love this bronzer, it’s great for any skin type in my opinion and give the greatest sun kissed glow.
Tips: It’s easy to apply, also easy to put too much ! Make sure to blend it out ♥️
I have been using this for years and years have recently just repurchased the laguna and orgasum duo love it
I have had two mini versions of this and used them both up fully. Loved it as more of a contour rather than bronzer. It felt like the perfect colour for me to contour with and looked quite cool toned on my skin and not orangey at all
Tips: Sometimes I mix a bronzer with some lip balm to make a tinted balm. Mixing a bronzer makes a nice nude balm that isnt too heavy like a lipstick
I am a huge fan of NARS products, I am yet to try a product that I am dissapointed with. Laguna Bronzer was one of the first ever NARS products I tried and it is safe to say that it was love at first sight! The shade goes perfectly on my skintone (olive, medium yellow /peach undertones), and I don't find it to be 'orange' like some other bronzers, there is also a nice subtle shimmer. It is pigmented, blendable and buildable and the packaging is sleek and durable.
PROS: - Pigmented, great shade! - Buildable, a little goes a long way - Can be used as a contour as well as a bronzer - Beautiful and durable packaging - Long lasting product, it takes a long time to get through one of the standard size bronzers even with daily use
CONS: - I am struggling to thing of any! Perhaps this shade may not be suitable for those with paler skin tones. - The packaging is a pro as well as a con as the black standard NARS bronzer packaging tends to get quite dirty over time. A little clean of the outside with makeup remover usually does the trick! - A little on the pricier side (totally worth it in my opinion!) :)
Tips: As a buildable bronzer you can start off with a little product on your brush and build as you need.
I really like this bronzer makes my face glow and gives that nice balanced tone to it. As long as you don’t over apply the bronzer you should be good. It’s perfect for any occasion really whether it be daily makeup or going out.
