I have only been using primers for the last year or so, so fairly new to it. I have used previous ones in the past but find this one is the best. And the price is the best too! It is like a thick gel, and you only need 1 pump or less, anymore is a waste. It spreads very easily, and covers your whole face, making your skin feel oh so silky. Despite it being a thick gel, I find it is easier to apply than a cream (I have used cream primers in the past, those have gone in the rubbish). I usually leave it for a few minutes to dry a bit first, before putting make up on. I definitely find that my make up lasts all day long when I wear a primer, and so far this is my choice of primer. I didn't know you could buy this one at kmart, instead purchasing mine from trade me. Recommend this!

I like this primer it makes my skin so soft and smooth, it's such a good price and lasts quite awhile because you actually don't need to use heaps, I like the packaging it's classy but it looks like you get quite abit of product when In fact you only get a little bit, aside from that it's a great primer and it makes my foundation apply nicely :)
As usual for me when doing an order on iherb I checked the e.l.f. section. I recently tried the Maybelline baby skin and wasn't the biggest fan, so thought I would start trying something else.
The packaging for this looks super highend which I love. If it wasn't made out of plastic you would be forgiven for thinking it was something very highend. The bottom half is like a frosted glass. It has a nice lid, although it doesn't stay on particularly well so I don't think this will be travelling with me.
The product itself is quite thick so it comes out of the pump in a wee line like spaghetti. Kinda weird. Even though it looks quite thick it still melts into the skin and is really easy to apply. It feels extremely silicone-y and creates a really smooth base for makeup. I did find that my makeup didn't sink into my skin quite as nicely with this on, but I think that is to be expected with some more silicone type primers. I did find that this made my foundation last really nicely during the day and it didn't break down during the day.
Because I'm not a big fan of how this feels on the skin (too silicone like for me) I think I will pass this on. But if you don't mind that this certainly is an awesome primer that I would recommend.
I bought this primer because I had never really used 1 before and I did really like the packaging. When I received this it came in a small pump bottle but I did find that the actual product is inside of another small container inside the main one. I found that this product did make my skin feel very smooth and my foundation did apply really well over the top. This product did make my makeup last longer as well. The bottle lasted me about 2 months which I found pretty good for the amount of product you do actually get. Would buy again as a back up primer.
For how much this product costs, the quality of it is amazing, it gives such a lovely smooth base for your foundation and makes it last all day with out your foundation separating or moving on your skin, it also mattifies your skin this primer is a clear gel and does have a silicon feel to it, you defiantly don't need to use a lot of this as a little bit would still do wonders. The packaging is good also, it comes with a pump which is very hygienic :) would defiantly recommend this primer to people who don't want to spend a lot of money!!
Tips: i suggest that after you have applied the product to your face, you wait awhile for it to set in before you apply your foundation on top :)
I first started using elf products last year just because I liked that their products aren't tested on animals and the brand seemed popular and inexpensive. The mineral infused primer as amazing!!!! Its a clear gel with a silicone feel and you don't need that much for your face. Once I put it on my face and leave it for a few minutes it makes my skin feel smooth and once my makeup is applied it will sit all day without smudging and running. It will keep my makeup looking good for the day which I love :)
Tips: When you have applied the primer, leave it for a few minutes before you apply your makeup to ensure it has set properly
When I first got this (from K Mart) I was a little sceptical as I normally use the benefit primer, however, I really wanted to buy a cheaper product as it can get quite costly using primer all the time.
It comes in a medium sized bottle, and the pump provides generous amounts of the product, so you really need to be careful and not go overbroad.
It feels so beautifully silky, I loved it mainly because of this! It just applies so gently and smoothly on your face, blending out gracefully... makes you face feel like silk! Not even kidding...
I wanted to see how it would effect or not effect my makeup on top.. and I was happy to see that my foundation glided on gorgeously, and stayed on for quite a while. I'm sure that was because of the primer, so honestly, it acted just like my more expensive primers.
It's definitely a product I would rebuy!
The e.l.f Mineral Infused Primer is a very good product for the price. It provides a smooth base for your makeup, I really like how my face feels after I use this primer. It also mattifies your face and prolongs your makeup like it claims. Feels like the bottle runs out very quickly though.
Too much of this will be far too slippy, but a small amount (no more than 1 pump!) will be perfect. I find this rather similar to the Smashbox primer - but at a fraction of the price of course! Some people have issues with the pump, I've personally never had a broken pump, but even if I did - that's not a deal breaker when it's that cheap, I would just open it up and use a q-tip to get it out each time. It gives me such a smooth canvas to apply my foundation.
Tips: No more than one pump!
Brought this primer not long ago. When you first apply the primer ur skin feels a wee bit oily but it is soon fine once u apply foundation and then set it off with powder. My makeup lasts a long time. Elf products are really affordable and is good :).
