Stila One Step Correct

A favourite from way back, ever since I discovered this colour correcting primer I haven't looked back. My skin tends to be on the blushed side on my cheeks and the green tones in this correcting primer really balance them out and gives an even complexion

I really wanted to like this product but unfortunately it caused my skin to be very dry & itchy. It's a neat looking product with the colourful swirls. I got a sample of this from Mecca to be on safe side, as it is quite pricey especially if it doesnt suit. So luckily, I didn't pay the hefty price tag! I tried it for a couple of a days, my skin did look better after applying my tinted moisturiser over the top but my skin became so dry & itch, so it's a real shame it didn't work for me. I gave it a break for a week then tried again this morning but it's definitely the cause of my itchy dry skin so its a no for me. I have seen other reviews where it's caused the same reaction to people. It's not for very one I guess

I've just started on a new makeup journey, went to MECCA for a lesson and this was one of the most important products the artist recommended. When we put it on, WOW , it's like photoshop for my skin. I felt like it also held my foundation on for the entire day - even in the middle of Summer at a wedding! It's really great, however I feel like it won't last long, not much product for money value. We will see...

I tried this out since it looked exciting, however I found it quite underwhelming considering the price tag.

The primer itself didn’t do a bad job, but I didn’t like the way my skin looked after applying my makeup base. I looked glowy, but not good glowy! More like a very glazed donut glowy. If that’s what you’re after, then buy this!

The colour correcting part of this primer is why I purchased it, but I think it would be better to colour correct areas with separate shades.

Omgosh this product delivers. A beautiful soft base for foundation. Looks flawless . Buy it and you won't be disappointed.

I’ve worked my way through a few pots of this primer. I have combination skin and a lot of redness. This sits beautifully on the skin and corrects colour and gives a glow. It provides a nice light base layer that evens out everything and the next layers don’t have so much work to do. It applies well with fingers. It works really well with a tinted moisturiser or under foundation. Lasts for ages even when you get addicted .
