The palette BAD GIRL has an impressive colour scheme which is perfect for creating a sultry look. It has metallic greys and forest greens, with a row of rich purples and blues topped off with two highlights of iridescent peach and white.
I used this palette not too long ago to try blue eyeshadow for the first time and looking at the pan today I had to double-check it was the right one because it looks as if I barely used it! Unfortunately the quality of the shades aren't created equally. Some swatch beautifully while others are questionable.
The metallic shades have no shimmer so you could get away with wearing the shades during the day without drawing too much attention. The matte shades are buildable so don't be put off if it applies sheer at first - keep layering.
Least favourites: Abyss - they should have called it non-existent..or maybe they meant the colour disappeared into an abyss?
Innocence & Gullible - they're the two highlights and when swatched you can barely tell which one is which?!
Favourites: Obnoxious - blue indigo in the pan but on the lid it's the most gorgeous metallic blue I've ever seen which says a lot because I hate blue altogether
Gun Metal - a stunning metallic silver where the colour is true to pan
Rebel - a deep plum wine with a matte finish
The shadows generally sit nicely on my oily lids without disappearing so quickly like some of my high-end shadows but I do prime and use Fix+ when using this palette. I bought most of my Sleek palettes from Beauty Bliss and out of all of them this has to be my favourite.
It took me a while to purchase a Sleek palette, mainly because there are so many palettes that I have heard great things about and I couldn't narrow it down so I chose 2 in the end.
Acid and Vintage romance palette, I will describe each one below.
Acid palette- It is filled with a mixture of matte and shimmered eye shadows that are bright colours.
Vintage romance- A sultry palette that has purples, plums and burgundy shades, all shimmery except for one brown matte shade.
Overall most of the eye shadows are beautiful, pigmented, they aren't long wearing unless you use a setting spray with them or foil them. The matte shades aren't as pigmented as the shimmery shades.
They are amazing value for money, I use my Vintage romance palette so much and I get many compliments when I wear the shades from this palette.
I highly recommend these palettes especially if you cant afford high end eye shadows, these are a fantastic substitute.
Tips: To get a more dense colour spray your brush with a setting spray before dipping it into the eye shadow.
