I first heard about this reading about it on someones blog and fell inlove with how it looked! I HAD to get it.
The packaging is very 'sleek' and not cheap at all! It's very sturdy and I can feel confident taking this blush away somewhere and not worry that it's going to break. It is your classic black matte packaging. When I first got this I found it hard to open but now it's really easy.
The colour is just beautiful but not as pigmented as I thought from reading all the other reviews, but it still is pretty pigmented, I just don't find you have to have a light hand when applying this all all like other people have said. I actually need to go in with it a couple of times to get the look I like (I like to actually see the rose gold flecks) It gives a beautiful glow or you can keep on adding more to give an amazing sparkle for nights out or just to look and feel glam. This blush lasts the entire day on your skin so you don't need to worry about touching up throughout the day.
This is hands down my favourite blush shade and favourite blush altogether! It's the perfect blush to go from day-to-night. This is meant to be a dupe for NARS Orgasm but I don't have NARS so can't comment. I wear this everyday and will definitely be repurchasing when it has finished. I feel like this blush is going to last for ages too.
I heard about this product as a dupe, before I heard about it for any other reason. I was on the hunt for the Nars orgasm blush, without having to fork out the money for the actual blush. Don’t tell me I’m the only one who does this? Anyway on my hunt, this brand came up a lot. That accompanied by the fact that one of my favourite vloggers mentioned them as well so I convinced my friends and I to do a haul for the Sleek site and buy some goodies.
Funny enough, even though my intention was to buy the rose gold blush, I actually ended up buying sunrise (a beautiful bronze blush) and pomegranate (a plum toned blush). Don’t ask me where the sudden switch came from, because it just happened.
The packaging, believe it or not is sleek. ( I had to do that pun). It comes in a compact matte black plastic case, with the words sleek written in glossy print. The inside of this little case has a mirror and the product.
An aspect I really like about this range is that it was designed for ladies like myself (in regards to skin tone, if not those who have a darker skin tones than myself), which means they are pigmented, as well as coming in colours that suit darker skin tones, because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve brought a blush because someone recommended it only to find I can’t even see it on my skin. I know.. first world problems.
When I say this product is pigmented, I mean pigmented. I have never used a blush that is so intense in colour, which means a little (and I mean a little) of this goes a long way so that’s another benefit. This product applies nicely to my skin, and applies great colour, as well as a slight sheen which may be the satin finish. I don’t know if this is only applicable to certain shades because my pomegranate one does this, but my sunrise one doesn’t.
For $7 USD a blush, these are unbelievably good value for money. Like seriously, wow. I think these will be a valuable addition to everyone’s blush collection, and they are so affordable, you really have nothing to lose.
