Stila Eyes are the Window shadow Palette in Soul Review

I got the palette for my birthday and I absolutely am in love with the colours. It is my go to palette for my neutral colours. The palette offers a range of neutral colours to try, I normally stick to the browns but with this palette, I couldn't help by try the other colours as well like the copper red, coppery orange, dark lime green and the blue as well. I makes your eyes pop and it's easy to apply as well. Most of the colours are shimmery but there are two mattes, there is also a very nice highlighter colour as well, that helps to make your brows more defined.

Comes with a nice big mirror as well. All the better to check yourself out with ;)

I have far too many highlighters, lipsticks and mascaras in my collection, but only two eyeshadow palettes. An eyeshadow palette has to wow me and justify its way into my collection. I was fortunate that my bestie had the Stila eyeshadow palette in Soul so I was able to have a play with it before purchasing, although it didn't take much convincing...

The packaging is a gorgeous rose gold, solid and with a mirror the size of the front of the palette. I don't stress about travelling with this palette as the packaging is so solid and the mirror is very useful. Inside are 12 standard sized shades; four light, four medium and four darker. All 12 shades are absolutely wearable and include 7 shimmers and 5 matte. By wearable, I mean that they are all neutral tones that are easy to apply - no hot pink or bright orange here. This palette is perfect for any occasion. The shadows are pigmented and blend easily. I have found them to last really well on me, without an eyeshadow primer. These shades would suit someone new to eyeshadow as well as someone who loves a more dramatic look. I wear these on their own, and sometimes use a separate metallic shade to combine with these for an evening look.

Will I repurchase this palette? Probably. I am hitting pan on some shadows much sooner than others, so it is a shame that apart from Kitten, these shades can't be purchased separately (as far as I am aware). To me, that is the bonus of having individual shadows - you can repurchase as needed. However, I can't say I will be able to resist if I see the rose gold packaging gleaming at me in Mecca.

This gorgeously presented compact contains 12 wearable eyeshadows in varying shades of brown and gold. The opportunity to achieve different looks is endless because each shade looks lovely on its own, as well as blended with the other shades. I really like how there is minimal fallout when applying these eyeshadows and the colours are long lasting.

Stila has to be one of my favourite brands ever. Almost all of their eye products are realiable and actually work. this pallet has so much pigment in it and the colours just flow onto the eyelid effortlessly. The colour range is stunning and it is a bit pricey but stila is a high end brand so you have to accept it. I would defiantly use again and would highly reccomed this brand to all of my friends.

Wonderful wee palette. Can use a little water on these to create different looks. I have had my palette for a couple of years now and it’s still fresh and not spoiled despite its age. Stila has items that a bit on the $$ side but they are great quality and last for awhile.
