Stila Jewel Eye Shadow Review

I recently brought Blue sapphire.

The color is really pretty a sort of royal blue, its very pigmented and has allot of staying power

I'm a bit disappointed though, as the photo of it on the website looked allot more glittery which I found that when I put it on my eyes it wasn't very glittery at all

Pretty good product but don't think I'd buy any more from this range of stila eye shadows as they're not quite what I thought they would be

This is such an iconic product I had to try it out for myself. The packaging is very simple with a secure clasp opening and a see through lid.

The texture is buttery soft and extremely pigmented. It is a soft rose gold/champagne shade which makes an absolutely beautiful highlight, or as intended as a eye brightening lid shade. It is luminous rather than sparkly which is definitely my preference for a highlight.

The colour of this is in between Marylou manizer (which runs more gold) and Makeup Geek Shimma Shimma (which is a little more pink). It pairs beautifully on fair skin without looking really obvious or jarring.

The longevity of this eyeshadow is reasonable (about 5-6 hours) although the texture can change a little as it wears.

This is an absolutely beautiful colour and one I would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves a champagne highlight.

Stila's Jewel Eye Shadow in the shade Kitten is one of my makeup staples. It's a beautify soft shimmery pink that is great for every day wear or dressing up with a smokey eye for a night out.

It's highly pigmented so a little goes a long way; even though this single eye shadow is expensive it will last you a long time.

I always get compliments on this shadow when I wear it out. It's similar to the Urban Decay colour Sin. Both really suit my pale skin tone, but will help make any skin tone pop!
