I was very surprised but I really like these nails, they are so easy to use and look professionally done when placed on correctly. I have always been skeptical about glue on fake nails as they tend to look just that, very fake, but these ones are different. The different sizes allows you to choose a set that really fits your own nails and if not they are easy enough to file into that shape. They are sooo easy to use!!! Line up the nails you are going to use then one by one dab on a small amount of glue onto your own nail and place the nails on, press until the glue dries, which is very quickly! I got a lot of complements using these nails, everyone thought they were my own nails and had been professionally manicured. I got the Belle set from the classic collection. They are a beautiful dusty rose colour and a nice shape and length, very elegant. As for durability, I am someone who is very tough on my hands, my job is very hands on with tough chemicals etc. these nails held up pretty well considering the hoops I put them through. Over the week that I have been wearing them I have had a couple pop off but were easily glued back on and looked good as new. I'll keep wearing them and have already started looking at other styles to get. These nails would be amazing for an event such as a wedding, they look great, pretty natural looking, are super easy to use.

Tips: Follow the instructions and angle the nail on a 45 degree angle before placing near cuticle so you don't push glue onto the top of the nail.
I was lucky enough to recieve these for a trial. They come with everything you need to apply them at home.
The application was very easy, although be warned that once you press down the glue sets almost instantly so make sure it's straight.
The day of application I left them the length they came as, this is way too long! I couldn't do anything with my fingers and within a few hours I had snapped 2 nails and bent a few others. I also lost a diamante. So once I returned home I trimmed them down and filed them smooth. This was very quick and much better.
Day 2 and they have held up well. I have had no more breakages and no sign of them falling off. I am very aware that they are there tho, they feel a little heavy on my nails.
Overall I would use them again. They are very quick to apply and I have had numerous comments on them and how good they look. In future I will cut them down in the beginning to avoid breakages.
The packet does mention you can reuse them, I will try and update this review in a few weeks and to if this is possible.
Tips: Trim them shorter otherwise they will snap Ensure the nail is straight before pushing down
If you're a woman of age, I dare you to try and get through reading about these nails without humming Penny Lane.
If I'm going to an event, or a special occasion I always have my nails done at the salon. You know, gel nails, usually with a french tip, because I become overwhelmed choosing a design on the spot. I was really excited about this trial, but also a bit worried, mostly because, my nails are odd.
My drunk party trick is slamming my fingers in doors. Not on purpose you understand, but nonetheless its what I'm known for. Toilet doors, taxi doors, electronic gates. The result has been uneven nail beds - some are pretty much flat, with no natural curve. So I was a bit worried 'full' fake nails wouldn't fit properly (as opposed to just tips, and the bed being built up with gel like at the salon)
Anyhoo. The super fun part of this trial was selecting our design. I spent like an hour on the Teddy Lane website. Making a list. An actual handwritten list y'all, of my choices. I really like that it clearly shows the length and shape you're choosing. I choose a medium length, almond shape design called Catwalk.
Here lies the biggest negative of the trial.
Its actually difficult being sure of the design you're choosing. The live action photos compared to the 'stock' photos show very different shades and its hard to gauge the finish of the nails. Going by the photos I thought Catwalk was a pinky-gold glitter. Its actually a rose gold embossed foil. Nice, but not what I thought. And if I'm paying $29 on press ons, I want to know what I'm getting. So my feedback here is to add a text description of the designs too.
On to the actual nails - beautifully packaged, with very detailed instructions. I found matching sizes really easy, and actually had enough of a mix left over that my sister got a set out of it too!
I chose to go for the 10 day wear. Gluing them on is a bit of a 'leap' moment. You line it up, say a fleeting prayer to Manicurus, the God of Nails and go for it.
The length and shape I chose were perfect for me - a bit of a statement without erring into Ru Paul territory. My flat nails weren't an issue at all, the nails pressed on evenly and relatively straight, and really did look natural. Particularly around the cuticle area.
I work in admin and these held up remarkably well given the aggressive typing of my email replies and changing many a nappy at home. I wore gloves when washing up and I even did a bit of weeding (with gloves) too.

Tips: The foil design started to wear on day 5, and by day 8 was looking past the point of acceptable out-of-the-house nails. But the glue was still super tight, so rather than try and ping them off, I waited for the glue to loosen before wiggling them off.
The price is fair for the quality of nails. Potentially a bit pricey for the press-on concept, but then again a lot less dollar than a salon gel job and it wreaked less havoc on my nails, than the aftermath of gel. So...yeah, I'd try a different design at this price for sure. In fact I've only marked this down on 'would I use it again?' because I wouldn't go for Catwalk again (on account of it being foil, not glitter like the images look).
Looking at my boring, wonky natural nails, I cast my mind back over my 10 days of Teddy Lane and the background music to my reverie fades in. ...'Teddy Lane was on my nails and on my hands'...and by golly gosh, did Teddy Lane look good there.
I'm a certified nail technician, but I no longer do it full time. So back in the day my nails had to be perfect. Now my nails are natural, but kempt, and I only fake it if I'm on holiday, or going to a party or date night.
I'm on holiday in Aussie right now, so great timing! I chose the design Daiquiri - long, stiletto nails in a 'feature' nail design. You could play around with the finished manicure, but the suggested look from thumb to pinky is: pink, glitter, feature, glitter, pink. I followed this pattern.
The design is very pretty and blinging. I love the glitter nail. Being a bit picky, the diamante feature on the line of the feature was a little misaligned, but in a way it added to the natural look, because humans rarely get things perfect right?!
Very easy to apply. If you allow the glue to get tacky on the nails before pressing down it creates less mess and minimises over-spill.
These are easy to file down if you need to, both at the tip and down the sides for fit. The file is a bit pants, if you need to file quite a bit, you'll want a tougher one.
They look as natural as falsies can, and do not look like press-ons. My girlfriend's are convinced these are gel or acrylic because of the quality!
Long is long - even though I'm used to long nails I do keep catching my thumb. The glue sticks so well its actually a bit sore when I catch it, but thats a reflection of my nail choice. It would be cool if each design was a available in variety of lengths.
I really love these nails, thanks BR!
Tips: Do your fingers on both hands first and then apply to your thumbs.
Totally fell in love with the ones I chose, Knight In Armour from the Chrome collection. They are bold and really make a statement. I thought they were a bit flimsy when first playing with them - bearing in mind I'm used to Acrylics, not stick/glue ons. The shape really isnt my thing... but the folks at Teddy Lane thought ahead, and I was able to file them in to a nice rounded square shape once I had trimmed them to a length that was manageable for me. I work in an office and do a lot of typing, unfortunately knocked a couple off just while working. Went out on Saturday night and got loads of comments on them, so they are definitely a good idea! I've since peeled them off, but looks like I can reuse them for my next occasion, so I will most definitely be doing that!!
Wow they are so beautiful and really easy to use. I've only ever used fake nails like these three times in the last 12yrs and these are the best yet. Definitely keen to buy more when I can afford too, even miss 8 thought they were gorgeous. Thanks for the trail :)
For my Teddy lane nail trial I choose the shade Kristin from the classic collection. This is a lovely nudey/pink shade which is a prefect shade for everyday wear.
On opening the nails my first impressions were how lovely and natural they look unlike other false nails I have seen before (obviously this depends on which collection you go for). They feel very smooth to touch and have a lovely glossy finish.
What is fantastic about this brand of nails is that they have so many different collections and choices within each range. I have very short nails so didn’t want them too long in length. The ones I chose were prefect as they were medium in length. Everything needed apart from a cuticle stick is include in the pack which includes 24 nails in 12 different sizes, a nail file and glue and off course instructions.
I did find that the application of the nails does require a bit of time. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to applying false nails so perhaps I would get faster and find it easier the more I did it. I definitely can’t stress enough how important it is to properly follow the instructions provided and to do good prep work of your own nails before hand. I was so excited when these arrived that I skip the step or using a cuticle stick to push back extra skin the first few times I apply the nails and found the result wasn’t as neat as the rest.
The only issue I had was finding the right size to fit my thumb and my little finger but the nails are easy enough to file down to size and this didn’t appear to affect the strength or quality of the false nails. The nail sizes are numbered on the back too so it easy to make sure you get the same size nail on each hand.
As I only wanted to wear them for a few days I followed the 1-3 day wear time instructions which meant only using a thin strip or a dot of glue in the centre of the nail. I was a bit concerned that they might not last the full 3 days using only a small dot of glue but the false nails felt very sturdy on once dried and didn’t chip during the 3 days. So I can definitely reuse them again.
When I went to remove my nails I soaked them in reasonably hot water for a good few minutes and then gently lifted the nails off using a cuticle stick. My natural nails didn’t look damaged or appear any more brittle from wearing them and the removal process of soaking in hot water is easy and did work.
I believe they are good quality as they look very natural and felt very sturdy on but I would probably only use them for special occasions as they would get expensive for every day use and they did take a bit of time to apply properly.
Tips: Wear dish gloves if doing dishes by hand as the hot water will loosen them.
Received my Teddy Lane Jeweled collection packet a view days after my invite - Wow they are so glamorous! Beautifully packaged and displaying the Aquamarine colours. My daughter was instantely jealous!
The package contains 24 nails and I was very impressed with the sizes - I have pretty slim fingers and small nails and I could easily find sizes to fit.
It comes with a small tube of glue and a small nail file to easilily shape where needed. It was pretty easy to stick them on and did take note as directed not to wet your fingers for the first hours - nine days in the are still intact and I have not noted and nicks or chips yet.
I have an office job and repeatedly point out important information in reports to management and co-workers and have received various compliments over the last 9 days I have been wearing them. I have to agree they look gorgeous!
Some of mine had diamanté beautifully place on one side of the nail - it was great because i would never have been able to place them so precisely.
Overall I’m pretty impressed - at the $25 price i would probably only buy them for a special event - they are quick to apply, look beautiful and the easy to take with you as a travel size.
Tips: Follow the instructions - especially don’t get your fingers wet a hour after applying!
These Teddy Lane nails are great for a special occasion without breaking the bank! As a nail nerd I usually do my own nails with normal and gel polish, but have not tried many stick on nails before.
I opted for Meila from the Classic Collection which is a more of a natural look compared to the other designs with rhinestones and glitter. The nails were quite long which I am used to, but I can imagine some girls may not want such long nails and would have to cut/file them down before gluing them on. Another thing I noticed was that there were imperfections a the tip of the nail so I had to file them down, which I feel defeats the purpose of stick on nails. One thing I am very happy about is how they come in different sizes, especially the smaller ones as my nails are quite little and I had no problem finding the right fit. Sticking them on was also very easy, the instructions were easy to follow and I got them all on without any trouble the first try.
I am very impressed by how long these have lasted, they have been on for over a week and none of them have chipped or fallen off!
Overall I would recommend these nails if you would like an affordable way to jazz up your nails for a special occasion.
Tips: Follow the instructions and they will last!
You will receive 24 nails in 12 different sizes to match your own and they matched mine nicely.
These come in a good range to suit everyone's taste and you will feel luxurious while wearing these.
The pack also contains glue, a file and instructions. You have two options for the amount of time to wear, 10 days being the maximum however I would apply glue to most of your nail so that none pop off with normal wear. I needed a pin to clear the nozzle every so often. You will know when the glue takes hold as you feel a sudden tightness. These are removed with an acetone nail remover and don't damage your own nails. I managed to chip one however I should have filed in a downward stroke.
I would definitely recommend these nails particularly for a night out or special occasion. As for extended wear I would tend to shorten them although I am not used to having long nails as I do some gardening etc.
I was very lucky to receive Milan in the 9-5 Collection and am grateful to Teddy Lane and Beauty Review for these :-)
Tips: Perfect for a school formal or special occasion and treat time!
