Thin lizzy was deefinately nothing like I expected.. it didn't cover my blemishes like it did on the ads. I felt it was a waste of money and I would only recommend it to somebody that had flawless skin. I tried using a conceler underneath which made the thin lizzy worse as it started to go patchy. not good.

Tips: Don't buy it.
I've had thin lizzy for around...4 years? I don't even know. The fact you get 2 compacts means it lasts forever. I've tried it for all it claims to be good for, and the only thing it's even remotely good for is to use as a bronzer/contouring, but with a very light hand. If you go too hard out..it goes orange. It's easier to start with a little and blend. The lip gloss is rubbish, and the eyeliner was also rubbish. I'd never use this all over my face like the ad suggest.
I have been using this for years now and i do love it! It is a great eye shadow bronzer blush etc however as a foundation if you want to look like a oompa lompa then go for it, i prefer to skip the look ;) If you use it daily like i do a compact lasts about 6 months.
I think lots of us brought this with the hope that it would be quick and easy and cover up the blemishes like it shows on tv.. Unfortunately it doesn't perform as one expected it too.
I found it didn't have very good coverage and made me look too orange which many people I know have all had the same comments. Very disappointing and not worth the bother to see if it works for you!
Thin lizzy has such major marketing behind it and its made out to be an amazing product, they claim it can be used as an all over face product however I have found no matter how I apply it, i always comes out looking blotchy and horrible, about the only thing its good for is for contouring and blusher in my opinion so for the price I don't feel it is worth the trouble!
Tips: When using as a contour/ bronzer or face framer don't use the thin lizzy brush provided with the kit, its crap :-)
Powder is my main 'go to' products when it comes to my daily make up routine. However, this product is not a personal favourite of mine. I know alot of young girls who turn to make up to cover up skin problems, thin lizzy claims to do this but to put it bluntly, it just not true in my experience. I have tried this product a few times and each time it has been the same, orange tinge, rubs off on everything, clogs up my pores and makes me break out. Im not saying this is the case for everyone, this is just my personal experience. Though would not recommend this product to friends and family.
Hugely over rated.. Doesnt last long and half the time ya end up looking like you have a bad patchy tan
I ordered this about a year ago and was completely unimpressed with this product. I thought you could use it all over your face but it just made me look orange! (even using the light one). I used it as a contour and bronzer but found it wouldnt stay for the whole day and would slowly wear off and look patchy and dirty. Although i did find it was an ok eyeshadow crease blending colour. but have better products for that so gave it to my mum. She seemed to like it but has darker skin than me. I did like the double sided eye pencil that comes with it
Tips: Unless you have quite dark skin dont use all over the face, just as a bronzer or contour.
The product claims it does 6 in 1, in my opinion, it's only good as a bronzer just because the shades do get slightly darker then the usual light powders. It get can glittery like aswel, and the smell is a bit put of. I like the brush though.
I started using Thin Lizzy as a teenager and quickly grew out of it. Definitely did not do what the ads show. Left me orange and blotchy and I didn't look natural at all. Wouldn't recommend but as they say everyone's different. I hope others have better luck with it.
