Bronzer

In my opinion, this is only good as a bronzer or maybe a contour if you're into that. It is way too dark and very shimmery. It does not colour match to my skin and I feel like I look ridiculous when wearing this (like an oompa loompa). If you're quite tan it might be suitable but even the lighter shades are not good for my skin tone.

Tips: Try before you buy. Use sparingly.

Not for me

When this first came out I brought it and every now and then I would buy it again to see if my skin loves it more or less.

It worked well as a face bronzer, blush, face neck and chest contour and eyeshadow; but I do find that it runs more on the orange/red side rather then green or brown based. Using this as a lip colour, evening out my skin tone and body bronzer didn't work for me.

I am quite fair (Red head Fair) and on my very fair skin I found it did look more on the muddy side but when I have a tan I find it looks less muddy.

The packaging is vey cute, it is easy to open and use. It has good colour payoff.

Tips: This is a powder not a foundation nor a powder foundation

Wouldn't purchase again

I started out using this years and years ago before I really knew anything about makeup and what else was out there. It was ok to use a young girl who didn't know better, but it is not something I would every repurchase now and I think the price is pretty hefty for what it is. I also think the 6 in 1 advertising is a bit ridiculous. It is a bronzer. Full stop. Also (on me) tends to be quite orangey looking. It isn't very easy to blend out either and can look quite patchy. Not for me! (anymore hehe).

I looked like an oompa loompa!!

I thought YAY!! I finally found a make-up that I could just splash on and go, perfect for someone with a busy schedule. Unfortunately, the powder made me look orange (like an oompa loompa) and my skin did not like it at all.... whats in that stuff??? Mine came with a lip gloss which was so sticky and my lips also flared up in an ugly, itchy rash. It also came with an eye liner, well, didn't even try that after the first two products failed. I was really disappointed as I so wanted it to work. I have heard some women rave about it so maybe it was just my sensitive skin but it just wasn't for me.

Tips: Go easy on the application. Try a little first, go outside and see how it looks before applying any more.

Thin Lizzy

It looks so amazing on the TV commercials, however I find it looks cakey, powdery and unnnatural on my skin no matter how I apply it.

Tips: Pop some of the product on your brush and then brush the excess off on a tissue before going near your face.

Yeah the ad lies and in addition to irritating my face and making me break out the product settles into my pores.

Don't waste ya money

I've applied it a few times and ended up with the same result, orange. The ads make it look so easy to apply and fault proof, they lie haha

Thin lizzy 6 in 1

i cant stand this product i just go orange. The only positive thing is it can be used to bronze my body and i love the eyeliner that comes in the set. For all my fellow pasteys out there please please stay away from this product!!!!!

Tips: not for light skin tones at all!!!

Not my fave product

i wasnt overly impressed with this product.. especially after all the "hype" around it! Definately not a very good range of colours and its quiet heavy.

A Learning Experience

I used this product for a couple of years as a teenager because my mum introduced it to me. During that time I used it all over my face to give me some colour and I thought it did a pretty good job. I stopped using it for awhile and tried it again a couple years later to discover it wasnt for me. Using the lighter shade ended up being too dark for me because I already use a foundation to give me some colour. And you see the ads saying that it is great to cover imprefections which it isn't at all, it is simply a bronzer and the ads only show what happens when you use ALL the products together.

Tips: Maybe only use accompanied by a concealer since it is just a bronzer. Definitely use the lighter shade unless you have very dark skin.

Disappointed

I started using Thin Lizzy as a teenager and quickly grew out of it. Definitely did not do what the ads show. Left me orange and blotchy and I didn't look natural at all. Wouldn't recommend but as they say everyone's different. I hope others have better luck with it.
