OK so i thought this would be cool to try as a foundation when it first came out years ago...NEVER AGAIN! It cannot and should not be used as an 'all in one foundation' it made me look like an oompa loompa! I can however JUST get away with using this as a very dark bronzer but that is where the 6 in 1 ends for me!

I have had this sitting on my make-up dresser for years and every so often I would pull it out and use it as it was never a favorite of mine to use as the colour was extremely to dark for my skin tone. Personally I think it makes my skin look too orange and I resemble an Ompa-Lompa if I use it as an all around powder. I don't wear eyeshadow all too often but wouldn't this product as an eyeshadow or a tint. Personally I think the product is a bit over priced and I have always had that thought, I was gifted the product in the buy 1 get 2 free deal so it was a score for me. I usually only use this product as a contour for my cheek bones and a bronzer when it is needed.
Tips: Start off bronzing and contour with a small amount of product on the brush, a very small amount and slowly build up the product because it is very difficult to remove once applied on top of other makeup.
Was an awesome introduction to make up and foundation. Worn it for like 6 years. Good coverage, although I only used it as a foundation, so I dont know how the other five uses go. Only issue is that they do not have an option is is pale enough for my skin tone :/
Tips: Only use if your skin isnt particularly pale :/
I first tried this when I was a teenager and I have purchased a few times over the years. I have two little kids and for me, this still comes in handy every now again. Especially when I'm in a hurry. I find it's easy to use and gives me good coverage, that's not too heavy. It's lightweight and doesn't irritate my skin unlike some other brands I've tried. I'd recommend you make sure to get the right shade for you to prevent looking like an Oompa Loompa. I think this is a great product if you're a busy person or are new to wearing make up.
Tips: Make sure to get the right shade for you.
I have used thin Lizzy powder as a bronzer, eye shadow and all over face powder for many years and I still find it helps me to achieve a natural sun kissed makeup look. It's so easy to apply and you can layer it up if you want a more tan/bronzed look. I find it leaves my skin feeling great and not clogged up like some other powders can. It's so easy to apply as an eyeshadow also and I have used it as an all over body bronzer. I don't go without it in my beauty bag and I think this product will be one that lasts the test of time for me. The brushes that come with thin Lizzy are amazing!
I look back at all the years I used this and now get why people at work would always ask me "Did you just reapply your thin lizzies?" I was the joke around work for having a orange face all thanks to thin lizzies. What has be done has been done and I can't go back to erase the embarrassment but the least I can do is save another poor lady the embarrassment of becoming a ompalompa doppelgänger.
Ladies whatever you do think twice or look at your actual skin colour in natural light before considering purchasing Thin Lizzies.
Tips: Don't apply to heavy to avoid strange looks.
This was one of my first ever make up purchases and I loved it! It made my skin look even and tanned and had the most amazing glow, if I applied it properly. But as I got older the brush would hurt my face.I started to get itchy, my face would get all hot and red. I guess I out grew it.
Tips: Be careful with brush and test for reactions. Dont apply to much.
Thin lizzy must have been every girls first makeup. Back then I remember trying to use it in the 6 ways described on the ad and thinking i looked ah-mazing. Now, not so much. It comes in a nice compact but thats about it. I dont think it shoikd be used as a foundation, it made my face look a little dirty. The only thing I use it for is bronzing which it is fine for but even then, for the price there are better products
Tips: Dont use the brush it comes with unless you want orange hair every where
I love thin Lizzy. I have sensitive skin so finding something that hides the blemish and gives all round even good colour is hard to find. Also I find that foundation makes me sweat. Thin Lizzy is all I need to hide the blemish and give good colour, plus it doesn't make me sweat. This is my most cherished makeup item.
Tips: Get someone else to make sure you have evenly applied
So yes, I got lured in by informercials to thin Lizzy! I thought this amazing product would make my beauty routine sooo easy...wrong! It's so dark ! I looked like I'd been on a tropical holiday after just putting on a light layer, I found it quite heavy on my face and couldn't continue my day with it on, washed off within a hour and now in my 6 year olds make up case.
Tips: Do not watch infomercials!
