Have used this product for years as a subtle foundation/bronzer. Its easy to use and give an all over even looking tone. I love the black/brown liner that comes with the set...the black is perfect coverage and application for the eyes and the brown works well as a brow pencil. I found the actual thin lizzy brush tends to break away or come apart...would recommend using a better quality one. For first timers...a little goes a long way, so practice and play at home before you venture out (dont wanna long like a bronze fake lol). Would I use again...yep only for quick easy daywear.

Tips: Keep your brush clean and tidy or even better replace with a better one. Keep the inside of the compact clean and tidy (wipe excess powder of mirror or compact surround with a clean tissue every now and then). Keep your pencil nice and sharp and always replace the lid (keeps it nice and hygienic)
I originally bought Thin Lizzy to see what the hype was about and because it happened to be on sale.
It came in a nice tin with a brush, lip gloss and eyeliner and a thin lizzy compact with the powder in.
I just felt I looked to bronzed when applied even with a little product ( I am not fair skinned)
the powder goes harder after a while and the brush the fibres constantly fall out. I cannot really comment on the eyeliner as I don't wear brown eyeliner and the lipgloss only got worn once or twice also as it was too sticky (smelt like strawberries though)
I didn't mind it to use as a quick dusting if I needed some colour or as a bronzer but I don't feel it lived up to its name as a 6 in 1 makeup product. It is probably ok for a beginner but I would not repurchase
There is a lot of hype surrounding this product but I don't think it's for me. I found that it gave great coverage as a bronzer but was a too shimmery for my liking, the brush that it came with was good but after a while started losing stray fibers which was quite frustrating and the lipgloss was just a terrible sticky mess
I have a LOT of foundations/powders etc, but Thin Lizzy is my guilty pleasure. When I'm looking for a quick make up look (or can't be bothered putting make up on at all) then Thin Lizzy is my all over, go-to product to give my skin a bit of life. I love how it doesn't feel heavy or cakey on my skin.
Saying that, I don't like the other products that come in the tin (lipgloss, eyeliner etc). I would be more than happy with just the powder.
Tips: Looking for easy make up that's compact enough to travel with? Use this product. It gives you a healthy glow in two seconds flat.
I have this in light and am onto my second one from the set. I use it as a bronzer and sometimes an eyeshadow- I haven't had much luck using it as a lipstick as it just doesn't show up on my lips. It looks shimmery in the pan but when applied it provides a nice bronze colour. I've noticed if I use it all over my face it seems to be attracted to my eyebrows and makes them very ginger colored- so avoid going near your brows unless you are a red head! The brushes you get in the set are pretty good as well as the eye liners, the lip gloss is a terrible, sticky, thick mess. I think it is a value for money product that is easy to use.
I have being using this bronzer since i was 14 that's 5 years of using this brand, i personally use the "light" it works great for contouring your face or a darker blush for night time looks when I'm feeling a wee bit lazy I use it as a eyeshaddow aswell its a versatile product, in the summer months when I have a patchy sunburn tan I can apply to those areas as a all over tan to blend out discoloured skin, I enjoy the fact that you get a pack with two thin lizzys two brushes along side eyeliner and lip gloss also, the lip gloss isn't my cup of tea I myself find it too sticky but I use the eyeliners daily.
Tips: make sure to tap your brush with the product on before applying to your face
I used Thin Lizzy as a teenager, when it was all the rage and I was still a make-up amateur; not that I have turned pro now by any means!!! I used it on it's own as there is no foundation needed and you can apply it as thick or thin as you like. Back then, I thought it was great, but once I discovered liquid foundation, I realised that you could get a far better finish than you could from thin lizzy's powder. Recently I found an un-used thin lizzy compact that I still have from a 2 for 1 purchase deal. I tried it and found that it was a little too dark for my skintone, even if I didn't apply that much- I felt a little like an oompa-loompa. I have a friend at work who uses thin lizzy still from time to time, so gave her the compact and she loves it. It's just not the one for me anymore. I know this is a review fio the compact , but I would like to put a good word in for the thin lizzy concealer, which I do use as it gives great coverage, but is so light you can't even tell that it's there!
This stuff made me look rather orange, I didn't notice how bad until I saw photos, and this was using the light one, not good not good at all, just got worse over time.
I've used this product quite a while back and honestly speaking, it did not help me at all. I have really oily skin and I feel that it did help control shine. It did not provide any coverage for me so a big no no from me. However, I've got a lot of friends who have this as their holly grail products. I guess this is one of those products where you just love it or hate it!
When I first started using thin lizzy I found it was too Orange on me but when I fell pregnant with my first daughter I was just after something easy, fast, light on my skin and simple so I gave it another go and loved it, you only need to apply it lightly and that's were I think I went wrong with my first application, it's so fast and easy and looks healthy without being cakey or thick on, the brush is awesome as well so soft and easy to use
Tips: Dont apply heaps to ur brush and shake or blow after you have product on your brush :)
