I used Thin Lizzy years ago when it was in a much larger container and loved it. I asked my daughter to get me some for xmas and was a little disappointed. With the previous Thin Lizzy I could wear it alone without any other foundation but this one I found didn't cover well enough so I used a liquid foundation underneath and used this on top to just add a glow. Great for dark shadows around the eyes

Tips: Brush using circular movements for an all over glow then for contouring push the end of the brush flat and contour cheekbones and other areas. For a better coverage use over liquid foundation to add a healthy glow
I liked the ease of putting the product on my face. I also liked the minimum look it gave me. I found that it didn't have that maximum coverage that liquid foundations had.
I used this brand five years ago and I loved the formula they had. I feel that the product has changed now and it doesn't offer me the same coverage it did back then. I found contouring with this product was a miss for me. My complexion is tanned so for this product to show as a contour on my cheekbones; I had to use a lot of the product. I prefer liquid foundations now as I find they are more blendable than powdered foundations.
Tips: Great for a minimum no make up look. I dropped my Thin Lizzy and the powder got everywhere. So don't drop yours.
I found this works better as a bronzer and eyeshadow rather then a foundation, in saying that, I found it was fine if I just wanted to do a quick light cover. Eyeshadow and bronzer, it's amazing, especially as an eyeshadow, which is what I pretty much use it for now.
Tips: If you use it as an eyeshadow, you dont need several different shades, as it is very buildable if you want to go darker
I use it mainly to contour. I’ve always used this find it great and easy to blend. Lasts ages, makes it well worth it. Can use it for other things which makes it useful. I didn’t like it as a full face bronze because it looked patchy and quite funny.
I have been searching high and low for a bronzer with a shimmer but not a glitter reflect in it. I have about 7 other bronzers ranging from cheap to high end but still don’t have one I reach for all the time. I bought this one after having not used it for at least 6-7 years and was quite shocked at how the price has increased. It used to be $50 for 2 compacts, 2 brushes and a few other things. It is now $30 just for one compact but I thought I’d give it another go. I’m quite enjoying it to be honest, it blends well and seems to suit my pale skin perfectly (in the light shade) . I won’t be using it for anything other than bronzing so can’t say if it works well for the other 5 uses it claims it does. I may purchase this again depending on how long it lasts but I probably wouldn’t recommend it to friends based on the price tag.
I enjoyed using the bronzer, especially during the summer months. So much easier than a foundation. As my skin lightens, heading into winter, it's great as a blusher although a little too orange in colour at times.
I'm on the fence about this product - it does work but the quality and finish isn't amazing. Its sufficient as a bronzer but there are other brands that have better quality bronzers at a better price point. Good for somebody who perhaps doesn't want to wear too much makeup but would like to add a bit of colour.
I've used Thin Lizzy many times over the years - I think I was given the sets as gifts a few times as a teenager. I loved how easy it was to use - it really was a gateway to using more makeup and learning how to do more than just paint my face with foundation. I used it mainly as a contour and eye shadow and found the colour really worked for me. I'd probably still use it if it wasn't so "as seen on tv" gimmicky.
Tips: The lip gloss that you get for free with the set is so sticky - use it at your own peril!
I remember the ads yonks ago where people were applying this liberally and omg so tan much wow! And lemme tell ya.. i was oompa loompa orange for a bit.
Not overly powdery, applies easily, blends nicely. Had the wrong shade for me so looked muddy and yuck.
Its not something i reach for often (or ever again) but it was fun while it lasted!
Though it says it's a 6 in 1 product, I don't believe that is accurate. I found this product was great as an eyeshadow and lip colour and that's about it. I didn't really notice much difference when using it as a contour, blusher, bronzer and face framer. I felt a bit let down actually, I was really hoping it was going to be that holy grail item but really wasn't to me.
