I was sent this as a gift from the gorgeous Chikoboo. She showed me my first Too Faced product. She has now made me the biggest fan of their products.
The tin is gorgeous. When the sad day comes and all the product is used, I will reuse this. It's bumpy for texture and had gorgeous colours.
Open the lid and that delicious scent of chocolate kisses your nostrils. Yum. I could sit and smell it all day.
The shades of shadow inside are White chocolate a lovely cream shade. Creme brulee a shimmery gold Haute chocolate a shimmery brown. I use these most days. I like the white chocolate as a base and use one of the others as a highlight for a day look. Both for a going out look. I love how using a little has enough pigment to show up or using a extra swipe is boom Sexy colour right there!
The chocolate soleil bronzer is perfect. I mean absolutely perfect! I get a big brush and do a couple of swipes and circle it onto my face. The instant glow it gives, that fragrance again and the easy blending makes it perfect.
The snow bunny bronzer is lovely. Same again as the chocolate soleil for ease of use. I like to use it as a highlight as well. Some days I'll mix both bronzer together and go over my whole face.
I like to use these bronzer over the top of my Oasis bb cream. I get a lot of compliments now on how well my skin looks... I'm sure it's this combination.
The lip gloss is stunning! I didn't think I'd like it. I was right I love it. It's really thick but not that horrid sticky feel. I lasts on the lips for a good amount of time as well. It lasts longer than other glosses I have that's for sure. it had a slight fragrance as well. The same chocolate. You notice it as you smell the tube or applicator.
There are not many products I'd say I'd go and buy again before it runs out, we'll this is one I have to have again. It's lasted so well. I've had it a couple of months now and it gets used most days. I love how all the powders are kind of creamy. Not dry and flaked like otherside I have. You touch them and you can feel a kind of moisturizer in there
This was generously gifted to me from Chikoboo for Christmas. I had admired this ever since I saw its release but didn't purchase it because my budget was tied up with Christmas presents for others. I was amazed and humbled when this arrived in my mail as a gift.
As a massive Too Faced fan, my expectations were quite high for this. Fortunately this definitely exceeded my expectations.
The packaging (as with everything Too Faced put out), is beautiful. It is super girly and pink and comes in a high quality tin. The only thing I wish that was included was a mirror but this isn't a major flaw.
This palette includes eyeshadows (all of these are from their Chocolate Bar Palette), two bronzers and a lipgloss. Each product is as follows;
- White Chocolate - this is the largest shadow and is an off white, matte shade. - Creme Brulee - is a medium gold metallic shadow. - Haute Chocolate - this is a brone/brown with a shimmer/satin finish.
All of the shadows are super pigmented and easy to blend.
The Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is a medium, matte bronzer that I use for contouring. It is super pigmented and very easy to blend. You need to use a light hand when applying this as it is really pigmented. This also smells like chocolate!
Snow Bunny is the other bronzer and is made up of strips of shimmery colour. You could use these strips individually as shadows, but I like to swirl all of the shades together and use this as a highlighter. As with the Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, this is super pigmented and needs a light hand when using it. Unlike the Chocolate Soleil however, this is super shimmery and has a gold/warm reflect.
Lastly this comes with a deluxe sample size of Naked Dolly which is one of their lipglosses. This is a light pink shade and looks extremely natural on the lips. It isn't super pigmented and doesn't feel heavy or tacky; it is a very comfortable wearing lipgloss.
Overall this palette is amazing. I take it with me when travelling often as it cuts down the amount of products that I need to take with me. If you are new to Too Faced or want to try out a selection of their products without having to buy each thing individually then I think this is an excellent purchase. This is one of my favourite palettes and I cannot recommend it enough.
Tips: Use a light hand when applying either of the bronzers as they are extremely pigmented!
