Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer Review

I received a travel size of this bronzer in the 5 piece bronzer wardrobe collection over Christmas and I love to use this as a contour. The bronzer is a darker shade and even though I have olive skin I found that this was a bit too dark to use as an all over bronzer. The bronzer itself smells amazing, and is very pigmented. It's best to use a tiny amount first and then build up more color as you go. This will ensure that you don't end up with muddy patches or lines on your face. I find that this bronzer doesn't blend as easily as I expected it to. I usually blend in with my contour brush and then need to blend out a bit more with my kabuki or large blush brush. This bronzer is definitely mate and I love that there is no shimmer to it. It enable you to use this product in many different ways. I also love using this bronzer in the crease of my eyes for natural makeup. I will definitely repurchase this in a larger size as I love the pigmentation and smell of the product, I just wish it was easier to blend. For the more pale skinned girls, the milk chocolate bronzer would be perfect as it's not as dark as the chocolate solely bronzer.

Being Indian my skin is on the darker side so it is so hard to find the right bronzer that shows on my skin! (I am NW30 for reference) BUT this bronzer is absolutely perfect!

I use the product as a contour with the real techniques contour brush from the core collection, and contour my face as I would normally. I have the regular chocolate soleil (not the milk chocolate) and build up the colour onto my face until it is right. As the bronzer is pigmented, this does not take long at all. I love that it is matte, so you can wear it during the day as well without looking too 'done up'.

The gold packaging and the divine chocolate smell are just bonuses to an amazing product. I will definitely repurchase once I run out!

There are so many bronzers out there to choose from but I was intrigued to try this one as I have read and seen so many reviews about how it smells like chocolate. So you can guess what the first thing I did when I got mine . . . yip it smells like chocolate (Cocoa) mmm!! So the next thing was to try it out, I got the medium/ deep shade. I use my xobeauty bronzer brush to apply this bronzer and find the bronzer blends beautifully on the skin and gives my skintone (light/medium) a nice radiant bronzed look without looking orange like some bronzers can do. I love how it is matte as well. It lasts about 6-8 hours on my skin which is combonation/ dry. Some reviews said that people would have breakouts from using this bronzer but I have not had any reactions to this bronzer. Would I re-purchase it? Maybe not anytime soon 1. I haven't hit pan yet so will see after that happens. I would highly recommend this bronzer to people just starting out in makeup or fist time bronzer wearers as it is so easy to work with.

This has become my go to bronzer for everyday! The colour is perfect for me - very buildable and not orange/muddy at all. It warms up the face beautifully and smells amazing. Great packaging and will definitely repurchase when mine runs out. Unlike a lot of bronzers, this one is matte and has no shimmer which is perfect for contouring. I have got a fair-medium complexion and I use the darkest one which I think is perfect.

I was so drawn to this product after seeing a few youtubers raving about it and how good it smelt ! I bi the bullet and bought myself one and I haven't looked back, the packaging is so beautiful and classy. I love using this as a contour being very light handed and also as a general bronzer to give me that warm sun kissed glow I wish I was born with. One of my fave products from toofaced so far! Ones it hits pan I'll have to replace it !!

I usually use this bronzer on days I am wanting a more full coverage look. This was a recommendation from a MUA in Sephora Las Vegas. When he applied it I fell in love immediately.The packaging is beautiful and it really does smell like chocolate. He applied only a minimal amount and the colour transferred so well. My only issue is that is quite hard to blend so only very minimal application is required but with the right brush it's easy to buff the product out. Because of the pigmentation it is great for contouring and has a matte finish. Bought in September last year and have just recently hit the pan and will be replacing once it has run out.

This was a product i was lucky enough to try, before i purchased the full size product. I purchased the too faced bronzer wardrobe for this exact reason and i am so glad i did.

This milk chocolate bronzer came in this bronzer wardrobe, and it comes with a really decent size pan, although definitely not a full sized pan.

The first thing i notice about this bronzer is the smell, it just smells so good, exactly like the too faced chocolate bar palette. Honestly, i would almost just buy this product for the smell (i know, what is wrong with me).

The bronzer itself is a lovely, warm matte brown. It isn't muddy or orange at all, so far so good. It is really pigmented so a little bit goes a long way. As for the formulation, this bronzer has a slight silkiness to it, and brushes seem to pick up the product easily.

Unfortunately for me, this bronzer is pretty similar to my skin-tone so although it slightly shows up, it doesn't really make that impact a bronzer should make. This of course is not fault of the product, but if you have a similar skin tone like mine (NC42), try to swatch this before you invest, because chances are, its just not going to give you that 'wow' impact your after

i love this matte bronzer! it smells so so good so i use it religously! this bronzer is so easy to blend so its perfect for beginners if you have the money to spend. perfect to mimic shadows on your cheeks for a slimming affect as it isn't to warm toned nor to cool toned. i have the lighter one and its perfect for me, i have pale skin, so bare in mind to get the darker one if you are medium skintoned.

I love the TOO FACED range of bronzers I'd probably love the whole brand but I've only used their bronzers to date with mascara in possession waiting in line to he used. Firstly they're so cute in their packaging I have this as a sample size & in the black book of bronzers. A matte bronzer with medium coverage in shade that easily builds up from light to medium & blends effortlessly leaving a natural glow to your face. Silky smooth, it picks up nicely onto the brush & goes evenly onto your skin. Have I mentioned the smell of this product? How they get makeup to smell like chocolate I don't need to know but whoah this is some achievement.Could be an indication of their ingredients being non toxic or chemical free? I don't know either but gosh keep making make up smelling this good I'll buy it for the smell alone.This smell wifts into your senses without trying to sniff it.Chocolate heaven... What I like is this bronzer isn't chalky it doesn't come of muddy or orange & it's not shimmery.I like to contour my face with it to give me a subtle framed face with dimension post foundation application.. Its pigmented & application during winter whilst my skin is lighter I do think it won't be as effective in summer because I get quite tanned. I can't reccomend this bronzers how it complements ones features & gives a natural looking glow. Love love love.

I have this bronzer in the too faced little black book of bronzers- which by the way is amazing and I totally recommend it! But before I get off track, this gorgeous little bronzer is right up the top of this book, in it's little 2.5 gram pan.

This bronzer is a beautiful light brown colour with no hint of icky orange. It is slightly on the warm side but because it's matte, I think it can work for contouring too as well as warming up your face.

This bronzer is called milk chocolate for a reason, not just because of it's colour but because it is a cocoa formula and it smells deliciously like chocolate. It is a real pleasure to open this palette up and get a lovely scent of chocolate.

I like to use my big, fluffy real techniques powder brush to apply this bronzer. It is incredibly easy to blend out, even if you accidentally get a concentrated spot of colour somewhere. For me though, even though I have lighter skin, this bronzer isn't quite as dark as I would like. I have used it for all over the edges of my face to warm it up but I now prefer to use this just on my neck and chest and I use the chocolate soleil bronzer on my face instead. I think if you are very fair and haven't found a bronzer that works for you, than this could be what you are looking for.

On me, this lasts for most of the day. It wears off evenly and I'm not left looking patchy at the end of the day.

It lasts in the pan really well too. I've used this heaps and there is only slight brush strokes across the top of mine. A full size would probably last a lifetime! The texture is also lovely and smooth, no chalkiness to this at all and I don't notice any fallout when I apply it.

I wouldn't go out and buy this separately but only because I want it darker. But everything about this bronzer from the formula to the texture is perfect to me.
