I am a big Too Faced fan and I absolutely adore this little palette. I had a bit of a clean out of all my old products and products I didn’t use very often and for some silly reason I put this away and then months maybe a year later I went back through the box of put away ‘things’ and I fell in love with this palette all over again.
The packaging is cute in cardboard with a small ribbon you pull up to open the lid. When you open the lid you are greeted by 9 gorgeous colours 3 lighter colours for the lashes to brow bone then 6 neutral colours. I love how this has 3 looks ‘day’ ‘night’ and ‘classic’ inside the lid there are 3 cards you can pull out and it tells you on each card how to create the look with the colours, it is so simple and the perfect way to learn if you are new to eyeshadows.
The ‘day’ look is almost all matte eyeshadows the cream base then a caramel colour and a darker brown colour. The ‘classic’ is very metallic and has a peachy toned base with a reddy copper and then a purple brown. The ‘fashion’ is the most metallic and shimmery of the 3 look and has quite a tan coloured base then a caramel brown and a red brown.
I’ve used all the colours a fair bit but generally go for the more shimmery colours, just because they look so pretty and the shimmery particles are teeny tiny which I love I’m not a fan of the ‘heavier’ looking particles.
The formula is creamy and smooth, all the colours are very pigmented and blend easily. There is no fallout when you apply it, which I love about this product. Aint nobody got time for fallout!
I don’t use a primer underneath and I can get a good 6 hours out of each wear. There is minimal colour fade during the day and it doesn’t shift. Overall it’s a great wee palette that I won’t be putting away anytime soon, with perfect nude and neutral colours.
I bought this palette at sephora and I'm so glad that I did because it's such a perfect little palette. I feel like even though the palette is small and you don't get as many eye shadows as most other palettes, there is such a wide range of complimentary colours that you can use it every day and still come up with a different look. It's easy to do a day time look with the lighter colours and a nighttime look by adding some darker shades. Too faced shadows are some of the best I've used; they're buttery and smooth and really pigmented, they don't have too much fall out and they blend really nicely.
