Carousel Cosmetics Eyeshadow Shading Brush Review

After seeing Carousel Cosmetics here on BR quite a few times I thought it was about time that I did a Beauty Bliss order! One of the first things that made it into my basket was the Perfect Eyes Makeup Brush Duo. This includes the Shader brush and the Tapered Blending brush. In this set it cost me $14.95 but if you buy them individually they are $9 ea, so it is a fantastic deal.

The brush itself has a black long handle that is very light, and the brush hairs themselves are crazy soft and brown. I must say though I do love the Carousel Cosmetics logo with the wee carousel horse, very cute. The shader brush is what they call a 'c' shaped brush, if you look at it flat on the top is 'c' shaped (or curved).

They say to use the shader brush to apply the shadow to your lid. But I like to use this one in the crease as the pointed tip is great for getting right in there. Also for picking up a tiny bit of colour and blending it in there. Remember you don't have to use a brush how they say you do. This picks up the eyeshadows really well and feel nice and soft on the eye, not at all scratchy. I haven't had any problems with them shedding at all. It also cleans up really well.

I would recommend this brush to any beginner in makeup as it is a fantastic all purpose eyeshadow set at a extremely reasonable price (especially if you buy in the set like I did).

I got this brush in a combo set in the vault. I was familiar with the carousel brand because I visit beauty retail sites and thats where I first spotted this brush set. I'm so happy I didn't purchase them because they ended up being in Beauty Reviews vault.

The branding carousel is written down one side of this brush . This brush handle is long. It feels sturdy. The brush fibres are so soft and silky. I'm not sure at this stage if the brush fibres are synthetic or real .

When I tried this brush with my eye shadows, it picked up the pigment well. I first tried it with a mellow shadow that I got in a beauty vaul and it blended across my eye perfectly. The brush itself feels so soft. What I enjoy the most about this brush is that it perfectly blends out across my crease line. Compared to my other brushes they just don't cut it for me.

This brush is my favourite eye blending brush. Every time I do my make up I always go back to using this brush . This brush is fairly priced. I would keep using it. If your getting into eye shadows I think this brush is a good brush for starting out with eye make up application.I really enjoy using it.

I got this in a previous beauty vault alongside the blending brush. I'd not used Carousel brushes before so was anxious to try them out.

These have a nice long handle which feels light in your hand. The length and weight makes this super easy and no fuss to use. The bristles feel really silky and soft on the eyes and, despite repeated washing, these still feel really soft.

I'm insure if these are synthetic but I assume they arel in comparison to my animal hair brushes, these don't pick up as quite as much product which means I need to dip into the shadow more than once. This isn't a major deal and because they feel really soft I don't mind this.

The size is decent - not too big or small, and I find that this packs on shadows quite well. I do prefer my Zoeva brushes but that is because they require slightly less work than using this does,

Overall this is a great brush and you really can't go wrong for the price. If you're looking for a decently priced, good brush then I would recommend this.

I bought this to compliment my other Carousel eyeshadow brush. This works in perfect harmony with it offering a perfect blender to achieve those smokey eyes or simply to get the eyeshadow looking on point and even. This brush is perfect for creating looks where you do a different colour on the crease of your lids. It's the perfect shape to get in to the crevices. I got mine for a mere $9 so a bargain by the brush standard! The name and branding of this brush just screams to my girly side so of course that's a plus side too. It's both playful and pretty.

The fibres themselves are both soft and fluffy but maintain the rigid stable feel that I crave in a good brush. It holds on to the eyeshadow perfectly, allowing minimal fall out to occur. The length and feel of the brush is perfect for my big hand to hold. It's paintbrush like which is fitting for something that helps create masterpieces. It has a comfortable grip and never slips out of my hand. I find that I have more control over a longer brush which means that my eyeshadow comes out exactly how I like it every single time. I love that the bristles don't shed no matter how abrasive the action is that I am doing at the time. After a good wash in baby shampoo I use, it comes up as perfect as the day I got it. Highly recommend to any makeup lover.

After picking up the Carousel brushes in the beauty vault, I was so impressed and knew I needed to pick up some more and am I glad that I did!

The brush is super simple and the handle is really easy to hold. It's the perfect shape and weight and allows you to hold it comfortably. The brush hairs are sooo soft and this one is denser than the blending brush. This allows it to really pick up product to apply to the lids. I find that it works well both dry and wet and the eyeshadows don't lose their pigmentation, which is a common problem for many other brushes.

It is such great quality - I haven't experienced any fall out and it is so easy to clean. For the price and quality, you really can't go wrong and I would recommend picking this up if you want to buy a good eyeshadow brush, but don't want to spend too much because while the right tool is important, I'd rather spend more on an actual product.

I am a big fan of Carousel Cosmetics brushes! This C brush is no exception. I needed a brush that could apply eye shadow to my lid and crease. I chose to try this out and I'm pleased that I did.

For starters, these are so easy to hold! I don't know what the deal is but this brush is comfortable to hold and I never loose grip. Very easy to apply eye shadows and no fallout. I have had bad experiences with other brushes where eye shadow has fallen all over my face and has applied roughly. I have had none of those issues with this C shader brush. It is excellent quality and has not shed one hair since I've owned it. Its easy to clean and keep hygienic too.

I'm so impressed with this brush as it has changed how I apply my eye shadow. I will be buying a backup for sure! Highly recommended.
