ELF is a brand that have some fantastic products for the price. Their brushes are very inexpensive and I picked this up last year when they had a 50% off their US site.
Whilst this isn't a brush I reach for daily, it is a good little brush and one that I am happy to have in my collection. This is a very small, dense brush that I like to use to pack on colour in my inner corner. The size of this brush makes it ideal to do any small, detailed work.
Because this is synthetic you can use it with both cream and powder products. I have never experienced any problems with bristles falling out - and I have washed this at least 10 times.
The bristles aren't as soft as other brands of brush I have but they don't hurt and are packed densely enough so that they ensure a great distribution of colour.
Overall I think this is an excellent brush for the price and is absolutely ideal for those who want a small brush and a small price. For the cost, this brush is excellent quality. Whilst a brush like this isn't a necessity in a collection, it is inexpensive enough to purchase with no guilt.
This was a brush that i has to get from my latest iherb order, and only because a vlogger was raving about it. What can i say, those youtubers are amazing enablers.
I brought this brush for $2.40 USD off iherb when they were having sale, and lets face it, that is ridiculously cheap. How can you go wrong with a brush that cheap, so of course i brought it, and i think i showed great self-restraint not purchasing 3 back-ups at this price.
This elf brush has a slim matte black handle, which is easy to hold, and fits nicely in my hand. Perfect. The bristles on the brush are shaped square, with rounded edges. They are black, and shiny and healthy looking.
Honestly, this brush is not the softest, especially for that delicate area under my eyes, but it really is made for its purpose. The semi-firm brush smudges colour amazingly, and it also transfers colour really well so another bonus.
For the price of this brush, you cant go wrong. Its a great little brush for any collection, and although i have to admit i don't teach for it every day (because i don't do dramatic eyes everyday), when i reach for it, i know it is going to perform.
