I've been converted to like lip glosses after trying some higher end version, so with that train of thought I picked up the Urban Decay Naked Lip Gloss in the hopes of having another brand's gloss to fall in love with, however I couldn't love it.
WALK OF SHAME: an soft brown nude with touches of peach through it, no shimmer just shine.
Packaging wise this is super adorable, firstly it comes in this super sexy copper toned bottle that has a metal effect to it, which means it touches cold. Then it has this little glass see through end that allows you to see what shade is inside, topped off with the Naked logo cut into it's body and the Urban Decay logo embossed on the top, it is just so pretty! Formula wise, however this is where it lets me down for you see the application is great it goes on evenly and gives a nice sheer gloss with the hint of a colour to it, which is pretty on it's own or with a lip liner even on top of a lipstick, every scenario though it is the same end result. There is no really tackiness to the liquid but it is super slippery and rubs off within 30 minutes when you aren't even doing anything let alone try to communicate or interact whilst wearing the gloss, after checking up there was no trace of the gloss anywhere it had simple vanished. This disappointed me as I expected so much for the price tag that you pay for this one gloss but it let me down and I won't be repurchasing any other colour from this gloss range.
It's not all bad news though as it has kept my lips feeling super hydrated and plumped, however for the almost $50 it is a pricey lip balm.
These lip glosses come in super pretty packaging and some lovely shades, it isn't too heavy and sticky, with the colour being a lovely pigmented shades that don't look too patchy. There is a subtle shimmer to the shades but nothing over the top.
Not my personal favourite especially at that price point as I have found a brand that has a better formula with longer lasting stay for at least half this price which has allowed me to purchase almost all of their shades.
