I forgot I had bought this and I used it for the first time two weeks ago and it has been my everyday go to, it's such a beautiful creamy consistency and the shade I have which is blind date is such a lovely raspberry pink. I cannot get over how cheap these are and I'm definetely going to be purchasing more of the range!

I bought this as part of a 25% off promotion at Farmers. I wanted to experiment with red, as I've always been a bit more subtle with my lipcolour, so a few dollars was a small price to pay to try it out! The colour I bought was called 'Stoplight Red' and I almost passed it by because the sample sticker was more a rusty brown colour. The lipstick itself however, is a really strong red with blue undertones, perfect for my olive skin, (orange-reds look terrible on me). Its the ugliest packaging, and I'm used to lip colour that paints on, so it was a bit hard to apply at first. But once it's on, wow. The colour is so strong and pigmented, and it really does stay very well for hours. A great buy if you're wanting to experiment with colour and have very little money!
Tips: Use a lipbrush. I also used a lip primer to help the colour stay on longer.
I have several of these little beauties- they are an absolute steal and criminally cheap. "Rose Bud" is a sweet carnation pink "Cherry Picking" is raspberry "Stoplight Red" is a dupe for MAC's "Ruby Woo" "Cherry Bomb" is a sultry 90s burgundy and a dupe for MAC's "Diva". "Sugar Plum Fairy" is a purple-pink.
Tips: They are matt lipsticks so I definitely recommend using a balm and a primer underneath. They could be quite drying otherwise,
This is a good dupe for MAC Cosmetics' matte lipstick. The colors are so pigmented and the formula is not drying my lips, unlike the other affordable lipsticks that I've tried.
The only downside is it's not as long lasting as my MAC matte lipsticks, but with the price? I would surely love to get all the colors out in the market.
not too long ago I purchased MACS velvet Teddy, I love it (its a cult fav) but I didnt wana go through it fast by wearing it everyday. Insert search for best dupe. Wet n wild bare it all is my FAV. its cheap enough for everyday wear, feels great on the lips and the colour pay off is stunning. You really cant go wrong.
I do like these lipsticks - great colour range and pigmentation that does last a while. The only thing that I find annoying is the packaging, the lid to mine continuously falls off which is annoying when I want to take it out with me. But for such a cheap price im not mad if I have to replace it.
Oh wow these are amazing, and the price of them just makes it more amazing.
I currently have 3 (Bare it all, Cherry bomb, and Cinnamon spice) and I'm looking to buy a heck load more of them.
Pros: - Creamy, slides on my lips - So pigmented - Been complemented on them from a number of strangers - Has a great range of colours - The price tag bodes well for my bank account - To date it has not melted, and I have left it in my car a few times.
Cons: - The lid of the tube falls of A LOT and it has marked my handbag quite a bit
Would I buy this product? .... ummmm YES!!
Would I recommend this product? .... Already have :)
i love these! i bought a bare it all, in the flesh and was given a few pink shades as a present. These are creamy and does not feel drying on the lips. they glide on easily and stay put for ages. It odes fade when i have had food or drinks but thats normal with any lipsticks.
A lot of the shades offered by this range are great dupes for MAC lipsticks. Bare it all is a great dupe for velvet teddy however it is slightly pinker than velvet teddy. I find these to be slightly better than the mac lipsticks and very inexpensive! The only downside is the packaging because the caps for the lipsticks did become loose and it ended up going everywhere. if you can try put it in a palette or somewhere in your bag where the cap cant come off.
I have tried the Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in a few shades: Wine Room, Mauve Outta Here, In the Flesh, and Just Peachy.
My lips (like my skin) is a bit sensitive. What I mean by this, is that they can chap and peel easily if I put on a lipstick with an ingredient that it doesn't like (althought I am not sure what). So it is always a bit hard to find a lipstick that looks good on my lips like it does on my friends.
The problem is, if I go for the hydrating types / glossy, the colours will just easily come off especially because I snack, eat, and drink frequently.
I don't have these problems with the Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color. The lipsticks go on relatively smoothly (aside from the lighter colours such as Just Peachy - at least on me, because it really highlights the imperfections on my lips but it looks great on a friend of mine), and the colours show nicely on the lips closely resembling that on the tube.
I find their staying power pretty reliable. I would reach for these lipsticks on days that I need something I can rely on, like job interviews, presentations, or events.
My colleagues frequently wear these at work and I always find myself asking them what lipsticks they are wearing because the colours and finish just look so beautiful on them, and I will find that they are actually wearing this Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color.
BTW, the colours Spotlight Red, Just Peachy, Cherry Bomb, and Red Velvet are very very nice and would get you loads of compliments.
I would love love love to buy more of these, and hopefully Wet n Wild would come up with more shades soon! (And have their brand available in NZ).
I heard many great things about the Wet ‘n’ Wild brand, so it was pretty exciting when Farmers started stocking them. I was amazed at how cheap the Mega Last Lip Colour were, with the price was $6.49 each and what a bargain! The lipstick is contained in the usual lip tubes with a plastic top.
I bought the shade Cherry Bomb, which is a deep maroon colour, pretty much the colour of fresh cherries. I initially bought it to accompany my witch outfit for Halloween last year and it was perfect. I was surprised with the quality of it. It was smooth on my lips and it didn’t dry them out. The shade was also highly pigmented, and I didn’t have to apply a second coating of it. Of course, like most lipsticks it comes off when you eat, but for the price that wasn’t a big deal. The only thing I didn’t like was the lid kept coming off in my bag and the lipstick would get on everything, which was rather annoying. I couldn’t be too annoyed, because it wasn’t an expensive lipstick.
I would like to try the other shades of this lipstick to use for everyday kind of thing, that way I can keep my expensive ones for special occasions. It’s not a risky lipstick to get, so it’s worth trying it out without breaking the bank.
Tips: Scrub the lips before applying the lipstick for a smooth application.
