This was my first product from wet and wild and loved the price! also like how its meant to look good in photos under various lights. Every youtuber was raving about this so I picked it up, its not bad and for the price its an okay foundation but it didn't sit nicely on my skin it always looked cakey and patchy - especially when I'd fake tan and use a darker shade. It looked ok in photos but in some it still looked off. I have normal to slightly dry skin and this made my skin feel quite dry.

Tips: Not a fan of the darker shades in the range.
After hearing so many great things about this foundation I decided to give it a go. $13 for a foundation is so awesome, but to be honest I didn't have high hopes at first. I don't really love the little applicator wand, I don't use it at all.
It comes in a sturdy glass bottle, I got the lightest shade and find it is not a bad match for my fair skin. I have dry skin and if I don't exfoliate first and prep my skin well it definitely clings to my dry patches.
It is nice and lightweight and does not cake on me, it lasts all day on me and doesn't oxidize at all. It looks pretty good at the end of the day, I really hate having to touch up my foundation during the day so I generally never do this. It does however have an odd paint smell, it doesn't hang around long but I find it unpleasant.
Photo wise it is pretty great, I don't take a lot of pics but on a girls night out I wore this and the pics looked really great! So a definite thumbs up for that. I do really like this foundation but think my skin may be too dry so really need a hydrating foundation. Definitely give it a go and see if it suits your skin.
Trying to get into the whole foundation thing so picked this up on a shopping haul. $13 is super affordable. I shade matched online in advance and have to say this is a pretty good match. (Desert Beige) Even though it's affordable I still think it has nice packaging. Glass with a black top lid. Has a spatula type applicator that i apply to spots on my face before blending in.
I'm not a full cover queen so have never tried to build up the foundation, I prefer a natural type look. I like the result and find it to be flattering and complimentary, not cakey. It does have a scent, it's a bit offputting but you don't smell it after applying it. Can use other make up products on top of this and have no problems. Blends out easily with a brush (don't know about a blender as I don't use them)
I am happy with this product and would repurchase again in future. Great starter foundation if you are just getting into base products.
I picked this up at the womans lifestyle expo. Wasent to sure if i should get it coz i like a full cover foudation. To my surprise was this a full cover and for the price is it a really good foundation
I decided to give this foundation a try after rave reviews I had seen on YouTube. I picked up a bottle from Countdown supermarket for around $14. Super low price for a foundation. Application is easy with the little spatula connected to the lid. It will also mean less wasted product as it nears being empty. The product itself applies well and blends easily. It has a medium to full coverage, which I love. After a few hours my t zone became quite oily and the foundation started to slide off. I think it would perform better with a primer and setting product. The only downside I found to this product, is that I noticed my skin starting to break out after using it. This is something I don’t usually experience with foundations. Overall, I found this a great performing foundation at an awesome price which I think is definitely worth recommending.
Tips: Use with a primer and setting powder/spray to ensure the foundation stays put. Watch out for breakouts after use. Make sure to cleanse thoroughly!
I use this as my everyday work foundation. It stays matte and has good coverage. It lasts for a full day at work. Wouldn't use this as foundation for an event. Price is good for what you get.
I have nearly finished my first bottle and I found it a great size, no need to use excessive amounts, easy to blend nice coverage light weight, I love it as my day to day foundation. I actually love the spatula it's not the normal application method I'm used to but I really like it.
I like this foundation I always buy this for my mum. It has no smell which is good. It lasts for 4-6 hours and blends really well to the skin tone.
I have this in the shade Soft Ivory, which is a perfect shade match for me. As other people have mentioned, this foundation does smell like paint. Fortunately, the smell doesn't last long. Also, I'm not really that keen on the spatula, as I prefer not to apply foundation directly to my face, but onto my hand first, and then apply with a brush. But that's more of a me problem. Aside from that, this foundation is excellent! It's medium-to-full coverage, and doesn't look at all cakey.
I’ve been using this product on and off for over a year and it’s one I’d happily repurchase for the summer time. I bought this for $USD4.99 from the Wet n Wild website (using a forwarding address) before the brand was available in NZ. I mainly bought this because I’ve been haunted by my pics where there is horrendous flashback. I bought the shade Caramel and in summer it’s perfect but I need to go down a shade in winter.
It comes in a sturdy glass jar which fits in the palm of my hand along with a plastic spatula applicator. I’m not too fond of the applicator because as you start to near the end of the product it’ll take more than just a spatula to get the product at the bottom.
It’s a liquid formula that’s not too runny and doesn’t dry too quickly so that you have enough time to spread the product over your face. It provides some coverage which you can build up so for people like myself that are trying to go for a more natural look this would be perfect.
When I first apply the product (I dot my fingers with the spatula – that’s how minimal I’m going with my makeup) it doesn’t look too promising. The shade and finish tends to look a little off at the start but once it’s blended in it seems to work with the warmth of my skin as well as the oils to settle nicely into my skin.
The finish leans more towards a natural finish that is not overly matte. By the 6th hour it’s only just starting to take on a more dewy finish which I can extend if I set my face with powder at the start. The foundation photographs beautifully with no flashback just a natural looking face of makeup. Note that I've only taken pics with Apple/Samsung phones and Canon camera.
For the price point and how well it performs on my oily skin I would recommend this to those going for makeup with some coverage and wanting a night of photos that won’t haunt them.
