According to the packaging, Covergirl Exhibitionist Uncensored Mascara in Extreme Black (#980) is a high volume mascara with 24 hour wear for bold volume that lasts all night! The packaging also states that it lengthens, lifts and separates lashes, is smudge-proof and clump-proof, and is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
Packaged in a 9ml tube with a basic bristle spoolie wand, I found the formula of this mascara to be very wet during the first two weeks, but it individually coated my lashes well. The formula thickened up a bit during week three and started to add more volume to my lashes, it was also a lot easier to apply.
It coated my lashes from root to tip, separated them without clumping, added length and volume, and was overall a rather good mascara. I'd definitely consider purchasing another tube.
This mascara looks like it should be wonderful. The sleek black with rose gold font packaging promises so much. The wand is thick and bushy and looks like it should give you big, beautiful lashes.
It does next to nothing. Application saw my lashes become blacker, but there was minimal lift, volume or lengthening. Two coats didn't do much more.
What sealed the 'never wearing this again' deal was waking up from a quick nap to find it had transferred terribly and I looked like a panda. (My usual Maybelline mascara does not do this).
I couldn't recommend this to anyone, and won't be using it again.
