Pantene Moisture Renewal Shampoo Review

I received a deluxe sample of this in the mail, and I'm going to get straight to the point. I hate it.

My first use went swimmingly, the shampoo lathered like I remembered, and the smell was the same. I had missed Pantene, and since they switched up their formula I was excited to use it. The excitement ended the next morning when I woke up with a massive rats tail dreadlock, which was my entire freakin' pony tail! Curse the hair gods! I thought, not thinking it was the shampoo. I kept using it, relishing in that familiar smell.

It wasn't until my hair started to go really dry and frizzy, and literally unbrushable, did I realize it was the shampoo. I was pulling my hair out when I brushed because everything had knotted together. I had stopped using products like argan oil in my damp hair, and this shampoo brought out the worst in my hair. Unbelievable. I have used it for a solid week with no results but bad. I won't be purchasing a full sized bottle of this overpriced cr*p, not with these results.

My Mum bought me these after I gave her my deluxe samples I received in the mail, as I turned away from Pantene in my teen years as I felt as it dried my hair out completely and lathered my hair and stripped the natural oils out. Anyway, my Mum was so impressed with them, she bought the full size for me to give a try.

First of all, I love the smell of it, a fresh perfumed but rich scent that stays a few days after washing my hair, which I like.

The packaging is simple enough but feels elegant, with some gold detailing on it, nice click close lid the only thing I feel is that the actual spout of it and the silky thin formula makes it when your tipping it out, that you get a lot more product than you bargained for, and a small amount goes a long way, so its a bit of a waste.

The actual formula is very silky and lathers quite a bit, so you only need a small amount to cover your scalp, I tend massage my head with extended fingers for a few seconds which creates a small foam then I rinse out thoroughly.

I'm left with my hair with loads of body, doesnt feel flat or weighed down like it used to with Pantenes old formula, I tend to leave my hair another 4 or 5 days before it needs to be washed again.

I'm really impressed with it. I will repurchase again.

I found this product is great. I got it as a sample and tried it on my hair and it made my hair feel smooth and ended up straight after i washed it. My hair is usually wavy so it was good to have something that made my hair straight.

I have dry curly bushy hair, grew up with no hair products, but now use pantene and wow, when I hair dry and iron my hair. Wouldn't think its the same hair LOL

I really like this shampoo, it's a nice creamy consistcy and you really don't need much of it to give your hair a good wash. The bottle is like every other Pantene bottle/ nice and simple but it's clearly labled so you know what your buying. And I really like how the bottle can be tipped upside down easily so you can get every last drop.

This shampoo definatly does what it's meant to do with the moisture renewal , after useing this my hair feels so much nicer then before hand.

I think this shampoo is great I have used it for about 4 yrs then I changed shampoo and honestly have not found one that leaves my hair in great condition so naturally I have gone back to it. It has a generous bottle size for the price and is easy to use there is not to much scent and it lasts a while overall it does what it says and leaves your hair nice and shiny and not dried out. It's good

I received a travel-sized sample of this product and was pleasantly surprised. I tend to be rather a product snob so would never have considered buying this, but it worked just as well as some of my more expensive (but in their defence, vegan) products. The smell is pleasant and I needed the same amount of product as I normally do. I used it in conjunction with the conditioner. I usually use a toning shampoo for my blonde hair or something aimed at fine hair, so this wasn't tailored to my hair concerns, but in general it did a good job. If you're looking for something cheap and cheerful, this is a good option.

I took a break from buying salon shampoo and decided to buy some from the supermarket. I remember having received a tester of this one in a goodie bag and quite liked it, so I bought both the shampoo and the conditioner.

The first couple of times I used it, it worked wonders on my hair. It made it really smooth and easy to handle, but it seems like now that I've used it for a longer period of time, it doesn't work as well. Perhaps my hair has got used to it? I'm not sure.

It smells nice, and the scent lasts throughout the day too. Would recommend it to those who don't want to spend heaps of cash on salon products!

I received this in my Beauty Box I was excited to try this as I have never used Pantene before. Pantenes been around for a while, but I've always been put off by the price of them. These samples were a great opportunity for me to try them. My hair is dry and damaged,m. This claims to add moisture to hair.

These miniature bottles are exactly like the larger sized bottle only that they are in travel sizex. Pantenes labelling on the front. Easy to open. The scent of it is mild. It has a a creamy liquid texture.

On application I found this shampoo required a decent amount to work up a lather in my hair. This made my hair feel soft adms I am washing it. After that I used the conditioner.

My hair felt soft when it was wet. As soon as it dried it went straight back to being dry. I havent seen any improvements at all with my hair. Im glad I got to try it because I definitely will not be buying it again. I think it's over priced, maybe $4-5 at the most a bottle.
