Firstly I would like to say thanks for the opportunity to trial this brand, it's been something like 15 years since I last used it, and I think it will be another 15 years before I use it again lol.
First impression - not too bad. The bottle is a generous size, fits in your palm pretty well and the smell isn't off putting. I don't love it, but I also don't hate it. It's one of the smells you can't put a name too.
Ease of use - very, there's nothing hard here, top flips off easily, product is runny enough you don't have to squeeze the bottle like crazy to get anything out and it lathers up really well in the shower.
After the first use I was absolutely sure my hair felt softer and stronger after I got out of the shower but the next day I felt differently. The ends of my hair were flyaway and felt dry. I've had to convert to daily washing during this trial as my hair looks dull and lifeless, almost with a greasy look to it. I'm sure this product would work wonders for other people, I just have hair and scalp that's super fussy. I really want to find a supermarket brand that works for me.
The one bonus has been that my scalp hasn't reacted to Pantene at all and that's something I find happens to me with a lot of brands. My scalp becomes all dry and flaky but not with this stuff.
First off, a shampoo has to feel right when washing and after towel drying your hair and the same applies to the conditioner. My hair is normally curly and I wondered if my curls would turn to fluff but I was impressed with how soft my hair felt after trialling this product. The smell was great and as an added bonus I used the remainder from the trial size bottle of conditioner to leave in my hair. It certainly met all my expectations and that's not an easy feat.
Tips: I use a blow dryer and straightener almost daily but on the days that I don't, I like to put a moisture conditioner through my hair after wetting it just to keep the hydration. I would definitely buy this product to do this as I found it excellent for me.
