I really enjoyed using this product. The difference in the feel and look of my hair was evident from the first wash. It didn't pull as much of my hair colour out as other shampoos and conditioners have in the past. I really liked how fragranced it is. Will definitely be purchasing this!

I used Pantene shampoo and conditioner as a teenager but have since moved on to using salon hair products. I was keen to give the new and improved version a try. The first thing I found was that the shampoo gave a really good clean. I was a bit unsure about the feel of my hair after shampooing it as it felt almost squeaky clean, as if all the moisture had been removed. The conditioner is lovely, and slid through my hair making it feel very soft. The smell of the products is very mild and pleasant. My hair felt fine after using the shampoo and conditioner and although I still prefer my salon products, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these if I was caught short and needed to wash my hair. A great supermarket alternative for great hair.
This shampoo and conditioner definitely made my hair feel softer than an average shampoo/conditioner. It left my hair looking healthy and wasn't too heavy or drying for my hair. The fragrance of the shampoo is amazing, so fruity and floral, although the conditioner didn't smell as good. The shampoo lathered in the hair really well and the conditioner made my hair feel silky smooth. I have medium-short hair and didnt have to use much product at all, less than the usual amount so that was a bonus. Overall if I was choosing a shampoo and conditioner I would purchase this one :)
I've used Pantene on and off over the years. I always get told off by my hairdressers for using it - it has a pretty bad wrap for having silicones that cling to your hair etc.
I recently let my hairdresser convince me to switch and buy salon shampoo, and wash every other day rather than every day.
When I got these samples I tried to use it every other day - and it just gets too greasy on the second day. Don't get me wrong, it did everything it said it would on the first day. It felt shiny and healthy, and really nice condition. But it was way too oily on the second day.
So if you're somebody who washes their hair everyday, I definitely recommend it as an affordable product.
Tips: Wash your hair each day with this for extra shine.
I used the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo last night and my hair smells delightful. My is very shiny and looks great! It feels very fresh, I was extremely impressed with the product as I usually use organic products. :)
Tips: Use the Pantene Pro - V daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner with the Shampoo.
I wasn't particularly impressed with the Pantene Pro-V that I sampled. It said it had taken them 10 years to come up with this formula, which I find hard to believe. It said it was a miracle cure for damaged hair, and my hair is probably moderately damaged. It didn't go anything drastic that I noticed, and I used it over the course of 7 days. It also smelled super soapy and sort of like hair dye, which was a little bit off putting.
When I think about advertisements for shampoo and conditioner I'm thinking of long curtains of hair trailing in that imaginary wind and coy smiles as women gather their manes and swing them to the camera, so for the average woman noting my lack of TV hair I'm wiling to try anything especially if its suggests to be 'the one I'm looking for.' Pantenes price is certainly a great factor and its clean, understated, fresh linen smell certainly has an appeal in an increasingly fruity market, especially if you'd prefer your perfume, or such, to speak for itself. Offering up to 100% damage protection with a lightweight feel I thought the best test was a workout, followed by blowdry. There wasn;t enough of a clean barrier to stop the sweat crown, but that's not enough of a test so blowdrying my clean, lightly scented (sun dried linen scent) hair was next. It looked fine, however I could feel the weught of the shampoo still. So a second rinse is a good idea. My clean look didn't last to the next morning, surprising for freshly washed hair. So it had a simple scent, it cleaned my hair but didn't wash out well, and I'd need to wash my hair daily to avoid any greasy or flatness. Great for emergency shampoo but not a daily dose.
Tips: Rinse well and use when wanting your perfume to 'scent' for itself
The shampoo and conditioner smelled wonderful, it was very easy to spread through the hair even the conditioner. I have long hair and sometimes find conditioner quite hard to spread through my hair nicely. My hair was silky smooth - very pleased with the result and will definitely purchase this myself :)
I have been using salon shampoos for a while, so I was a little apprehensive about what this shampoo would be like as a RRP of $8.99 is about a quarter of what I pay at the hairdresser for products.
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised and I loved the way this shampoo made my hair feel so clean and smooth. You don't need to use much - it has a thick consistency that lathered up well for the first wash and really well for the second wash.
It has a lovely fragrance that lingers for at least a day but it is not over-powering.
I would definitely recommend that my friends and family try this shampoo - such great value for money!
Tips: Don't use too much. If it doesn't lather up, rinse your hair thoroughly and then re-shampoo. You will find that even with a small amount, it will lather up nicely.
I opened up the shampoo and conditioner and inhaled the fragrance. It has a lovely scent that is most pleasant and promises of fantastic smelling hair. To me it smells of green apples and perhaps cherry blossoms. Lovely. In the shower I wet my hair thoroughly and squeezed some of the shampoo into my hand. Great consistency and not too watery/thin or too thick to apply to my wet hair. I massaged the shampoo into my hair and found the shampoo consistency is very silky and massaging the shampoo into my hair I loved the smell a lot. After a min or two of massaging my hair I rinsed my hair thoroughly and felt my hair (which is lsightly dry and a little damaged at the moment from buying a cheap hair dye - I have so many regrets about that cheap purchase) seemed quite silky already. The shampoo was easy to wash out and did not find it hard to rinse off. Sometimes a cheap shampoo can be all foam and no go when it comes to moisturizing and helping damaged hair. I opened the conditioner which is a little thicker than the shamppo was but this made it so much easier to squeeze into my hand and massage into my hair while I ran my fingers into my long curly hair to ensure the conditioner was all throughout. I wasnt sure how long to leave the conditioner as there were no indepth instructions. So after 3 mins I washed the conditioner out and stepped out of the shower and towelled my hair dry as normal. I used my affro comb to comb my hair as usual and was very pleasantly surprised to find I had no knots or tangles which is amazing! My hair feels softer and bouncier. It seems silkier So in conclusion I love the new Pantene pro v daily moisture renewal shampoo and conditioner and would definitely use it again and recommend it to others. My dry, slightly damaged dyed hair is in much better condition. it is not dry anymore but looks fantastic, smells amazing and is on it's way to being in much better condition.
Tips: Obviously this is a sample only at this point and it will be interesting to see what the final product will be and have more detailed instructions but that isn't a biggie at this point.
