Pantene Moisture Renewal Shampoo Review

The consistency was average for what you would expect from a shampoo; not overly thick, but not so runny it pours out of your hand. There was no particular scent to the shampoo, just the usual 'clean' smell, if I smelt it too closely there was almost a chemically type smell but nothing over powering. After washing my hair had a pleasant fresh and clean scent to it.

I have long (past shoulders) thick hair, so I usually end up needing to put a lot of shampoo in my hair; but with this product I started with a small amount, about the size of two coins, and I was pleasantly surprised with how much it lathered up and covered my hair.

I used this with the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner so can't say for sure this was just down to the shampoo, but after one wash my hair felt really smooth and soft, and I kept running my hands through it to feel it.

My hair is generally in good condition, I have bleached ends so try to look after it and keep it moisturised, and although there was no real 'wow' factor to this shampoo, I did notice my hair feel softer than with my usual shampoo, particularly the tips, so I would use it again.

I only had the sample size of this product, which was enough for two washes, so I can't comment on the long term results of this shampoo, but I was happy with the way my hair felt, looked and smelt after each individual wash.

I would buy this product along with the conditioner, it does what it sez, I would prefer to stick with the product that I am currently using now, but would definitely use the Pantene range of the one that I am using was to ever sell out or stop being made :)

My normally frizzy split ends were tamed by the shampoo and conditioner. Didn't have to use loads. Left the conditioner on for a bit and it worked a treat. Smell is a bit strong for me, personally, although it is a pleasant scent. Would buy the shampoo and conditioner

I have been using Pantene on and off for years.

I really do like the range but I have always been concerned about the silicone coating on the hair to make it feel healthy when really its just covering the damage.

I have used this for a few washes now and I find the shampoo to really get in and clean the hair very well. It lathers up nicely, and smells great.

I have to add that for a "Moisture Renewal" shampoo, I expected a bit more. It doesn't feel overly healthy when compared to other shampoos, but it does feel a lot silkier when combined with the conditioner.

The fragrance of this shampoo is lovely, not to overpowering - nice and light. I used about half the trial bottle as I have medium length hair, and lots of it. It quickly lathered up nicely. After blow drying it , it left my hair feeling light and the smell was divine. As for leaving my hair shiny, I couldn't see the effect with my hair, maybe I needed to keep the conditioner on a bit longer? I will try this next time and will feed back again. Overall I am happy with the results and would definitely buy for myself and family.

After the first wash i could feel a difference in my hair! This product was amazing. For someone who dyes my hair a lot and bleaches it, I have extremely dry hair so this is probably the perfect product for anyone with the same type hair. Within the first few times of using it my hair was feeling amazing! And the smell was beautiful.

I really enjoyed using this Pantene shampoo. It had a typical Pantene fragrance that was fresh, feminine and left my hair smelling very clean.

It lathers up very well, but I found compared to using higher end products I needed to use more to cover my full length of hair (mid back hair length).

I am unsure if it did really repair my split ends as it suggests it will (the best remedy it to cut them off), but I did notice that when I straightened my hair afterwards it was still silky and soft, which doesn't always happen with other brands.

I have a sensitive scalp and I noticed it did not aggravate it at all, although did not improve it's condition either.

Overall it was a good product that I would recommend trying.

i am in a chlorine pool daily so my hair needs a shampoo to soften and repair my hair. Pantene certainly took the "straw like feel" out of my hair and also removed the chlorine smell from my hair which is usually hard to do. I definitely felt using it with the conditioner gave me the best results. My hair is very fine so the only thing to stop the 5 vote was my hair was so soft after using this product it was a little hard to style. Otherwise lovely product

The first thing I liked about this product was the smell. I first used it after I had been swimming and the pretty smell definitely masked the chlorine. After only using it a couple of times with a small trial bottle I can't say with complete confidence that it does what it says it will but my hair has felt very silky and rich since using it. Although I'm currently due for a hair cut so I have bad split ends and it didn't do anything to make these feel better. It possibly could have after more than just a couple of washes. I would use this product again and try it fresh after a haircut to try and prevent damage.

I really liked this shampoo it made my hair very soft and silky feeling. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing some TLC for their hair. My hair was very dry and Pantene Pro-V has made it much easier to manage. The smell is lovely too very light and fresh.
