Pantene Moisture Renewal Shampoo Review

I loved the smell of this shampoo. It also lathered really well. I have long hair and I didn't need much to get a good foam going. It cleaned my hair well as I often use dry-shampoo which can leave a build-up in your hair - this shampoo cleaned that off with ease.

Let me start by saying I was apprehensive about using Pantene again after the horror stories I used to hear from my hairdresser but the promises of a new formula lured me in! The sample sizes were very cute, if the full sizes look like this they'd definitely catch my eye. One of the things I loved about the shampoo was the awesome smell, it's not overpowering and smells a little like one of my favorite salon products. The shampoo is thick and spreads easily, I didn't have to use a whole lot to lather up enough to coat all my hair which is approx shoulder length. It seemed to all rinse away quite easily and my hair didn't feel stripped or anything horrid like I've experienced with other supermarket shampoos. So far so good, onto the conditioner!!

Having used salon hair products over the past few years, I was interested to sample the Pantene shampoo.

The scent of the box reminded me of an old perfume favourite of mine (a great start!) and the packaging was consistent with Pantene's other hair products.

After application, the shampoo lathered up well, rinsing out with no problems. Initially, I paired it with the conditioner, however I didn't rate the conditioner (it resulted in fluffy, frizzy hair) so used my regular conditioner in its place from the second wash onwards.

Post-shower, my hair was clean, shiny and manageable, and my typically dry strands behaved (despite the humidity!). The light scent of the shampoo was quickly overpowered by the scent of my heat protectant products.

Overall, I consider this to be a decent shampoo that gives plenty of bang for your buck, however I would need to use it for a longer period of time to assess how well it repaired hair damage.

This thick and creamy shampoo/conditioner combo worked wonders on my chin-length, prone to frizz hair.

I used it daily for 4 days, had a break of 2 days, then daily again.

My hair was silky soft and had next to no frizz in all that time (despite wicked Hamilton humidity!).

The scent is delicious too.

Obviously, with shortish hair, I didn't need a lot of product for each wash but I found a little went quite far anyway. A small dollop of shampoo worked into a rich lather, and a touch more conditioner was all that was needed to get the 'job done'.

I've had quite a sensitive scalp recently too but this product gave me no irritation whatsoever.

I would highly recommend the Daily Moisture Renewal range as a great daily cleanser and protector for your hair.

Even after just the first wash with this shampoo I noticed my hair felt lighter - that may sound strange, but I have very long and thick hair, so it was a noticeable difference from my usual shampoo. The shampoo was easy to spread through my hair and lathered really well. It also has a nice smell. I have quite bad split ends, and I couldn't see any noticeable difference to those over the 10 days that I was trialling this, but it may improve with more use, or if I got my hair cut it may prevent the split ends from occurring as they have previously. I did notice that after using this shampoo I got a number of tiny pimple spots on my scalp - I'm not sure if it's connected to this product or not, but it did occur shortly after I started using this. Overall though, I found it was easy to use, smelt nice and kept my hair feeling clean and lightweight. I will definitely try this again.

I was really impressed with the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo. I'm a busy Mum of 3 little humans under 4 years old, which means I get about 7 seconds of time to myself each day. Sadly my long luscious locks have been replaced with dry and unkempt Mum hair. But after washing with the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo this morning I noticed an instant difference in how my hair both looked and felt. Amazing! The smell of the product was really nice too and totally reminded me of the smell that normally hits you as you walk into a top salon. I really enjoyed this product and will definitely be using it again.

I'm not fussy when it comes to washing my hair. I tend to aim for something that smells fruity, silky and above all affordable! The trial included both Shampoo & Conditioner and a decent trial size at that. This combo had a pleasant smell to it, neither over-powering nor heavily scented (I prefer strong citrus/fruity shampoo/conditioners) However I was highly impressed with the results; It could be that I had a haircut in recent weeks but I feel my hair is much more silky and healthy! I would only wish it had a stronger fruity scent. 4/5

A pretty decent product - not something I normally buy for myself but definitely one I would use again. After the first wash I definitely noticed that my hair felt nice and silky smooth to the touch. It also smelt good which was a bonus!

Dryness is something that I suffer with greatly when it comes to my thick and unruly hair. No matter how many times I straighten it or how many products I use I always have the same dry and thick hair that I was born with. The Pantene Pro V Shampoo has definitely changed the game quite a bit for me.

Normally I am quite reluctant in changing products on what I use for myself. Even if they don't work and I can promise that my last product was not helping me at all. This moisture renewal shampoo was a great first step into trying something new to tame my unruly hair. The fragrance was refreshing and definitely allowed my hair to have that beginning feeling of being restored to something my luscious and smooth.
