Wow I have used a Pantene product for a while but this was amazing I normally was my hair every 2-3 days and even by washing day it was still silky. It's great that I don't have to use as much to feel that it's clean , also smell is great not a bad price either and in combo with the conditioner it really delivered. Will definatly be purchasing again

Tips: Use in combo with conditioner
Long time since I used a supermarket shampoo. But was quite impressed with this one. Hair seemed very smooth after shampooing, not the normal grippiness. ( think I just made that word up!) one time used just the shampoo without the conditioner and was surprised how smooth my hair was and it was not dry at all. Probably would always recommend using the conditioner though.
Tips: Only use a small amount as lathers up quite well.
I stopped using anything Pantene years ago because I found it made my hair oily and my scalp super dry, so I was pretty skeptical about using this product but I thought what they hey and gave it a go. I found when I first opened it that the fragrance was gorgeous and not overpowering and when I used it, it left my hair feeling soft and feeling like it had life back in it again.
Tips: Definitely make sure you use it in conjunction with the conditioner and you only need a little bit and not a huge handful.
After not using Pantene for a while, I thought I'd see whether it had improved. And I'm glad I did. The fragrance alone surprised me but the way it made my hair feel was even better! My hair felt really clean and didn't feel weighed down as it can with other products. I would definitely try again...
Tips: Team it up with Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner.
I used to be a big fan of Pantene back in the 90s when I was a teen and it came in pastel coloured bottles, I still used it when they first reformulated it into the pearly white bottles but when they reformulated it again around 2004/2005 I stopped using it as the formula had become much too siliconey for my fine hair. The silicones when used sparingly can make hair feel silky and smooth but over time they build up and when you have fine hair like mine (super fine but lots of it) it weighs it down quickly and becomes lanky easily. I am happy to say that the 2014 reformulation of Pantene is great - they have removed all of the silicones from what I can tell/feel and see on the label. There are also no parabens on there that I can see which is another bonus in my book. There are a couple of forms of SLS but for me personally SLS isn't an issue but some people have allergies towards it. Overall it is an incredibly creamy formula which gets my hair clean, doesn't leave build up and the smell - amazing, it is the old perfumey Pantene aroma but with a fresher more fruity/musk scent and I love it - it is so strong though you can smell it through the plastic bottles long before you even open them, so those who are perfume sensitive might want to avoid this product but personally I love it and I can smell it for a good day after washing. Not quite as concentrated as the old formula from memory and I had to use a bit more than my usual shampoo to get a good clean, but it's still a big bottle and good value for the amount you get.
Not my fave, but second in line at the moment and I would definitely consider repurchasing.
Used in combination with the matching conditioner this shampoo leaves my hair clean, detangled and silky smooth without all the silicones of the Pantene of yore. Definitely worth trying if you haven't given Pantene a go in a while.
Tips: Avoid if you have a perfume sensitivity!
I was seriously sceptical about a product claiming to be new and improved. How much improvement could they make while retaining the brand? As it turns out...heaps!
I didn't like the old formula of this at ALL. But I gave the new one a go after ending up with almost a months worth in free samples (oops haha) and . . . I believe them.
I don't personally like the packaging for these as I find it a bit outdated, but the product is what is important and that has improved significantly. The shampoo lathers nicely but doesn't strip hair or tangle it. It has a good consistency (thick and shiny) and works nicely into hair. I wash my roots and let the residue run through my lengths, and have been pleasantly surprised by the results. Would definitely give a full sized bottle a go.
Well done Pantene. You've converted me back :)
So I ran out of my favourite shampoo and conditioner and since I was already at the supermarket and couldn't be bothered going to the pharmacy to buy my regular I decided to try my luck on the new Pantene. I used to like it as a teenager but over the years I suddenly became allergic to it and my head would itch like mad so I hadn't used it for a few years but since they claim they have changed their formula and reading the great reviews It got the better of me so I gave it a go.
The bottle is a lot like the original Pantene bottle the flip top sits on top of the bottle. The plastic of the bottle feels quite sturdy and strong compared to a few other bottles but it is still easy enough to squeeze the right amount of shampoo out. It is a white colour with a slight shimmer to it. It smells fresh it doesn't have an overly fragrant scent to it just a subtle fresh scent. It lathers up nicely once I had lathered it up and started rinsing it out it felt squeaky clean it worried me at first but after conditioning it was fine. My hair is past my shoulder blades its dyed every month and has frizzy ends.
So the verdict... No itching! The new formula has definitely changed for the better. I actually really like this shampoo I'm actually considering buying it over my more expensive one that I love. My hair feels and looks amazing I have had lots of comments on my hair about how shiny and soft it looks since using it. Will buy again
I received a travel-sized sample of this product and was pleasantly surprised. I tend to be rather a product snob so would never have considered buying this, but it worked just as well as some of my more expensive (but in their defence, vegan) products. The smell is pleasant and I needed the same amount of product as I normally do. I used it in conjunction with the conditioner. I usually use a toning shampoo for my blonde hair or something aimed at fine hair, so this wasn't tailored to my hair concerns, but in general it did a good job. If you're looking for something cheap and cheerful, this is a good option.
I took a break from buying salon shampoo and decided to buy some from the supermarket. I remember having received a tester of this one in a goodie bag and quite liked it, so I bought both the shampoo and the conditioner.
The first couple of times I used it, it worked wonders on my hair. It made it really smooth and easy to handle, but it seems like now that I've used it for a longer period of time, it doesn't work as well. Perhaps my hair has got used to it? I'm not sure.
It smells nice, and the scent lasts throughout the day too. Would recommend it to those who don't want to spend heaps of cash on salon products!
I like how this shampoo doesn't make my hair feel all grippy after washing it out it makes it smooth but you can still feel that your hair is nice and clean. It smells amazing also!
