I tried this & thought that it would make my hair be less dry, it was great when I first washed it & smelt amazing. Once it was dry, a couple of hours after then, my hair lost all moisture & went straw like. I would maybe use this again to see if continual use of it would make my hair more moisture rich. I used it twice & had the same results.

I had mixed feelings about trying this product because Pantene has not had the best name in beauty circles. Now that I've tried it, feelings are still mixed.
At the beginning of my trial I was really pleased with the product. It smells good, very little is required (my mini bottle lasted more than a week!) and it tames flyaways and those Jackie O turned up ends that my hair gets.
However, towards the end of the trial I did notice that my hair wasn't staying clean as long as with my regular shampoo, and it feels a bit 'coated'.
Tips: I think this would be a good shampoo for someone on a budget with a low maintenance hairstyle and regular washes. However, I didn't find it so good for my combination hair.
Washing my hair with the Pantene Shampoo gave my hair a 'squeaky clean' feel which I really liked at the time. Once my hair had dried it made it smooth but not particularly shiny. My hair is quite oily and it seemed like within 8 hours it looked as though I needed to wash my hair again! Made my hair feel greasy and yuck. Unfortunately I would not use this product again with my hair type but would probably work really well with someone who has dry hair.
I was really excited to try this brand as I havent used it in almost a decade.
The scent was pretty darn nice and the smell did linger in my hair after washing, which I LOVE!
When it came to washing my hair with it, it was pretty standard and normal like most shampoos, didnt need to use any more or any less than regular shampoo.
Once my hair was air dried(which took a lot longer than usual) it looked and felt almost greasy, gave it a once over with my blow dryer and straightener and it had that "shiny but bordering on greasy" look to it. Jump to day 2 my hair was greasy, limp, flat. Just not pretty I tried washing my hair again and drying with my hair dryer but it didnt help much in regards to the greasy look
Lovely scent but wasnt for me
Tips: I did use in conjunction with the conditioner and without
Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal claims to "erase the damage of 100 blow dries", while my hair is slightly damaged from years of dying, straightening and blow drying I did not feel it made a very noticeable difference to the health of my hair. My ends did feel slightly silkier but not enough to encourage me to rush out and purchase the product. However, I usually find with moisture renewal shampoos they often make my roots too oily. Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal did work with my natural moisture layers in my hair (as it claims to do) so this was a definite bonus of the product.
I personally view Pantene as a brand which helps a lot with unhealthy or damaged hair and is quite reputable, so when I heard about the Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo I was keen to give it a go. I have quite damaged and dry hair myself which only seems to get worse during the summer months, so this seemed like the perfect product for me. My first thought was that it smelt amazing, a bit fruity I thought, quite sweet and very girly. The consistency was the same as other shampoos I had tried, however when I used it on my hair it didn't lather up as much as I would have liked. I ended up having to use more product on my hair while using it, which is something I usually avoid doing. It made my hair feel quite smooth straight away, even before I'd conditioned my hair, which is rare for me. However, after Id gotten out of the shower and started to dry my hair, I noticed it had become quite knotted quickly, and stayed like this a long time. I had to brush my hair for a long time to get rid of some of the knots which is what I try to avoid usually. I blow dry my hair often, but I don't think that it would erase the damage of 100+ blow drys, as said. My hair did feel smoother after using the shampoo and then blow drying, but I don't think it felt or looked a lot healthier or more moisturised. I wouldn't feel comfortable repeating this quote to others interested in buying the product, as I don't think it would be able to erase the damage of 100+ blow drys. I feel that for the price it's sold at ($8.99), it could do a lot more, and would have been able to make my hair feel softer and less damaged, but of course others may think that this is a sufficient price for what is does. Overall, I thought it would a nicely scented product, but didn't work for me as well as I'd hoped it would. I didn't notice a big difference in the health and moisture of my hair which was disappointing, as I'd expected more from this. I probably would not purchase this product again, however I don't think it would stop me from repurchasing from Pantene as a brand again.
Tips: I tried using this with my normal conditioner, then with the Moisture Renewal Conditioner by Pantene as a comparison.I would definitely advise to use this product with the corresponding conditioner, as they work together a lot better than other conditioners and combinations, which was of course expected.
This shampoo was not what I was inspecting from pantene. It had same nice smell and same thick consistentcy but would not lather up in my hair, I had to use a lot of shampoo to feel like their was any in there and I dont have oily hair at all as its quite damaged from lots of bleaching. As for locking in moisture and creating silky hair, that is true when used with the conditioner but I dont know if that wad because of the shampoo or the conditioner.
Over all I definitely would not use the shampoo by itself or with another conditioner but the combo together is great
I used this product twice. The smell is amazing, it is easy to use and you don't need much. My issue with the product was that it weighed my hair and my hair and scalp become oily the very next day. I have oily hair anyway, but this product just seemed to make it become oiler quicker. I would recommend this product to others, I just don't think it works for me
After a year of dying and bleaching my hair, I have very dry hair and a multitude of split ends. I was excited to try this shampoo as I thought it would be perfect for my hair type. The product has a light, clean fragrance and does a good job of cleaning your hair in a gentle manner. It does not weigh your hair down with excess product which is a positive, but it definitely needs to be used with its counter part, the Daily Moisturising Conditioner. Before applying the conditioner my hair felt very tangled.
Tips: This shampoo would be best used as a preventative measure to keep healthy hair looking and feeling great. On already damaged hair it helps but cannot fully restore it.
I was very excited to be included in this trial, and have been using the shampoo and matching conditioner for the last 8 days. The shampoo has a thick luxurious texture and a light smell. It lathers up nicely. I found that I needed to use a bit more of the shampoo than my regular one especially on the first wash. The shampoo washes well, and I did think that it seemed a bit gentler on my hair - it wasn't "squeaky clean" when wet, but still was clean. This product is intended to erase the damage of blow-drying and leave the hair silky. To be fair I don't think that 8 days of use is going to erase all that damage, but I think that by the last couple of days my hair felt a little more nourished and had a bit more body to it. My hair isn't silky smooth though - and it used to be. Overall, I think this is a decent shampoo. I probably would buy it if I felt like a change from my regular shampoo, but I wasn't blown away by it.
Tips: I found working the shampoo in my hands before lathering my hair made it easier to spread through my hair. While I needed a bit more shampoo than usual for the first wash, I needed much less for the second wash. In fact, I think you could skip the second wash.
