I can't believe how 'soft' this exfoliator feels on my skin. It doesn't feel like it's doing anything (compared to what I've used in the past), but after I rinse and pat my face dry, my skin feels so smooth! I love the feeling of exfoliating my face without feeling like I'm scrubbing with sand paper.
I've only been using this for about a week and a half now, so can't say whether the brightening complex works yet.
I have been using this for several years now and it is quite nice... though it really does need to be used EVERY DAY to make a noticeable difference. It is very gentle so good for sensitive skin. Like all Demalogica products it is quite pricy, but also goes a long way.
Tips: Use every day for decent results
This has to be my all time favorite, hands down exfoliating product! I started using this years ago when I had problem skin and I still love it now that I am in my 40's. Is it gentle enough to use every day, and I actually find that I get great results when I do use it at least every day or two.
I have been using a different product the last few months, which has been ok, but I am going to go back to this one as soon as my current one runs out.
Tips: Use it in the shower for less mess.
Using this exfoliant is the best my skin has ever felt. I've only used a sample size but will definitely be purchasing a full-size at some point in the future. I haven't as of yet because it's so pricey but I definitely think it would be worth it. The scrub feels so lovely and luxurious to use and was a really nice little daily ritual for me. I am really impressed that it is so effective yet gentle enough for every day use, I can definitely see why it is a cult fave!
I love this exfoliant. It comes in a powder form and you need to mix it in your hands with a bit of water to make into a paste and then apply to your face. It's really gentle which is perfect if you have sensitive skin and are worried about irritation and redness.
Tips: Make sure not to let the product in the bottle get damp as it won't come out and you'll have to chuck it XD
This product is ideal to use if you have sensitive skin as its super gentle, you can feel a slight tingle as it starts to work. It leaves the skin soft and smooth. However, if you are not sensitive I wouldnt use it I would go for something that will penetrate deeper and lift off the dry dead skin cells on the surface (same with blackheads)
Tips: Decanter a single use amount into a bowl and slowly add water and mix it with a facial brush until you have a fluffy consistency
The product worked well once water was added. However I found it a pain to mix up, and I didn't like having to store it away from the shower. It was good it wasn't too harsh on the skin.
I first received a sample pack of Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant to use and without reading the instructions used far too much and without activating it in water so be sure to read the instructions as it is not your typical exfoliant!
I now of course use this product properly and even using the travel size, it lasts a long time. You only need a small amount of product with water to lather it up! You may think the foam doesn't do anything but it really does work and the great part about this exfoliant being a foam/ lather, is that it is gentle on your face and can be used everyday without having a very red and sore face afterwards.
I find that my pores have really reduced in size and are barely noticeable on my nose and it really helps to keep blackheads in check! Don't be put off by the price, it really does last a long time.
Tips: Read instructions - only use a small amount and 'activate' the exfoliant with water and working it up to a foam/ sudsy lather.
Don't store it in your bathroom - as it is a powder you don't want to risk moisture from your showers being absorbed by this product.
Great product. It was rather expensive not usually the price I would want to spend but it lasted so long and really did help to keep my face feeling fresh and so soft.
I have used this product every 2nd day for about 3 years. The difference to my skin is amazing. After using it you can really feel a difference to your skin - it's smoother immediately. I tried other products as this is pricey but nothing could replace this amazing scrub. A small amount goes a long way too so it lasts for ages.
Tips: Don't keep it in the shower as if it gets water in it the powder turns to goop!
