Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

This product is honestly amazing. I will never use anything else. It is so great for sensitive skin and is so refreshing. It is great the way a little goes a long way. It cleansers pores and removes oilyness. It does everything it says it does

I purchased this a while ago during my first dazed visit to David Jones, it's a pretty mesmerising place. I had purchased this as part of a cleansing routine and was pretty dubious about this product. I like the pottle that the product comes in and discovering that the microfoliant is a powder was quite a novelty too. I used it on my face and my face felt cleaner but not as clean and smooth as the moisture mist face cleaner I still have in my bathroom. It's ok, but my skin seems to prefer something else more.

Like a lot of other lucky ladies I received this in the top rated BBBE. I have never tried any Dermalogica products before but I have heard great things about some products so if course it was the first thing I tried from the box. I love exfoliators but I was told I should only use them once maybe twice per week as you can do more damage than good to your skin. So when I read the back of the bottle it's safe to use it daily I was more than excited.

The small white bottle has a grey screw top lid the top of the bottle has two holes where the product comes out. You do have to be careful as it does seem to pour out pretty quickly.

I shake out a small 10 cent coin sized amount and mix in a drop of water so it looks like a paste, then start scrubbing my face. I love how this scrub feels rather gentle on my skin. When it comes into contact with more water it does almost lather slightly. I don't notice any real scents with this exfoliant.

My skin is on the drier side so I am always sceptical with new products, praying it won't dry my skin out any more and will gently buff away the dry skin. And my oh my how pleasantly surprised I was afterwards.

I pat dried my skin and didn't even need to take a close up look of my skin, the results were very noticeable my skin looked glowing and it felt super soft. I was in love. Since receiving this I have used it nightly without fail and still can't believe how nice my skin looks and feels. I am almost out of this but I have been stalking the Dermalogica website ready to place an order as I couldn't imagine my life without this exfoliant now it really is magic, i love how fresh my skin looks after using it. I can see why this was in the top rated box!!

I like the product think its use of different natural ingrediants is well balanced and out of the box. I like that it gives a good consistency and layers nicely. I must say when i did use my product it made my skin complexion look smooth and soft, gave abit of a glow and hydrated great

It comes in a cute little pot like a pepper shaker.

I had to read the instructions because I'd never used a powdered microfoliant before and didn't really know what one was!

So, I shake the product into my hand after cleansing, rub together to lather, and wash around my face with it. It lathers quite well. The beads are small and sparse, so it doesn't irritate, but gently exfoliates.

I like the smell, subtle but minty fresh.

After use, my skin feels clean and soft with no sensitivity, and no dryness. It is certainly gentle enough to use every day, as it says in the blurb. It also says it will leave skin clear and refreshed, and I feel it does this rather well.

I'm not sure I would purchase it at $30 for 13g, but it is a good product and I'm glad I have some, so maybe I would! I would certainly recommend it as an exfoliant and brightener to anyone with sensitive skin.

This came to me through the BEBB at just the right time. I have added it to my nighttime cleansing routine & am loving the results. Firstly, it is easy to use, I pre-cleanse & then wet my face again, and hands tap a little (probably $2 coin sized) amount onto my palm, rub them together & then massage on to my face. The smell is mild, a little baking-soda-ish and the texture is gentle but still exfoliating. I think this is perfect for my normal - oily skin & great to get my face ready for my night moisturising treatments. I dont use a lot & feel this will probably last a few months, despite it's small size.

I was so excited to receive this in the top rated beauty box. I have sensitive skin and I am prone to rosacea on my cheeks so I can be quite wary of trying exfoliants so the Dermalogica 13g travel size is a prefect introduction.

The microfoliant is packaged in the typical Dermalogica white container with a grey screw off lid. Underneath the lid are two rather large holes for getting the product out but be careful as it can be quite easy to tip too much out.

I use this in the mornings after I have cleansed my face. I tip out a small amount of powder onto the palms of my hands and rub together to form a nice lather. ( Hands need to be wet first) I then massage onto my face and rinse off. It’s surprising how creamy its texture it is, not at all harsh like some other exfoliants. I have not experienced any burning sensations or nasty reactions from using this.

I find even with my sensitive skin using this everyday so far has not caused any problems with increased redness or sensitivity. I have noticed that my moisturiser absorb better into my skin and my skin tone actually looks more even and brighter even after only a week of use.

I think I will cut back to using this 2/3 times a week as it is rather expensive and I want to make it last as long as possible. I definitely recommend this product.
