Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

I added this into my daily skincare regime a couple months ago after being recommended it by my beauty therapist and now i cannot go without! i love how its in powder form and you tip your own amount out and mix. it does a great job of gently exfoliating and leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean. i dont find it too harsh which is usually the case with exfoliants for me. it cleared my skin up alot and has improved the general condition of my skin! i will never look back :)

I recently read a number of reviews for this product on a facebook group and knew I needed to try this. This product has made a noticable difference to my skin in just 10 days and I plan to keep using this product because of how good it is. I do have quite dry/sensitive skin, but definitely haven't found it too harsh. As other reviewers have said, don't store it in the shower.

I can't really disagree with this product as I had a huge allergic reaction to it. I came out like my face had been attacked by sandpaper it litilary was like my skin was peeling from my face and had to have 2 days off work so beware if you have sensitive skin

I have used up a couple of full sized product and I have also recieved a few large sample sizes as well. The small sample sizes are great for travel and last a fair while as well. The exfoliant is a dry white powder- I expected it to scratch the skin off like most exfoliants but I was wrong! It is an enzyme exfoliant so it dissolves the dead skin away- no scratchy exfolianting here which is much better for your face. I usually wash my face, rinse and while wet massage a couple of shakes over my face. I use it daily when I'm feeling congested or just 2/3 times a week if my skin is good.

I received a travel size of this to try, and enjoyed every bit of it!

The travel size is quite short, but fairly round. It comes in the standard Dermalogica packaging - white with grey writing and grey lid. As with my other Dermalogica products I found that the writing on the label wore off quite quickly which is disappointing as I like to re-read labels periodically to make sure I'm still using my products correctly. This particular product, being in a powder form, has a kind of salt/pepper style dispenser in the top (aka, large holes!) so you can shake the powder out into the palm of your hand.

You don't need much product to cleanse your face with. I found that because my face is already wet it was best to sprinkling the powder into my hand (which in itself could take a while as sometimes the powder was a bit reluctant to come out) and then mix only 1-2 small drops of water into it to make a thick paste. Once you start rubbing it into your skin the paste thins out as it mixes with the water already on your face.

It was a little strange at first to be exfoliating with product that didn't have the usual larger pieces of aggregate in it, but my skin after rinsing was so soft and smooth!

One important thing to note with this product is that it's best to not keep it in the shower (some would say don't even keep it in the bathroom) as the moisture in the air or some rogue shower drops can make their way into the bottle, clumping the powder and making it impossible to get out and use.

I'd buy this again, but probably just the travel size again as the full size bottle is a bit expensive and would be a lot to waste if some water managed to get into the bottle.

I got this product in a gift bag and so I have the small container of this (13g). This was my first time using this sort of powder exfoliator. It came in a screw top lid and you can just sprinkle it out into your hand and add a small amount of water to make it into a paste and apply to face, massage for 1 minute then rinse. I found for my skin I would only use this product at night as I would use something more gentle in the mornings. The smell for this product I found it was pretty strong like chemicals. It did leave my skin feeling nice and smooth afterwards. The amount I got in this small container (13g) it has lasted me a few weeks and I still have a lot of product left. Overall a nice exfoliator to use on the daily specially after a long day of wearing makeup.

I absolutely love this product. It makes your skin look and feel as though you've walked out of the beauty salon. Only issue I had was the price but it is completely worth it. I only usd this product every few days when I had it as I find when I use microfoliants or any exfoliant for that matter I tend to get spots more regularly.

I love all of the Dermalogica packaging, its lovely and clean looking. The daily microfoliant comes in a big shaker type bottle, and you tip a little into your hand and then lather it with water to make it foam before applying to your face. The exfoliant works through enzymes, rather than an abrasive method, hence being able to use it daily (which I love) and the rice bran in it really does seem to help brighten your skin, so great for pigmentation issues. You definitely need to make sure you don't get water into the container, so I wouldn't use it in the shower
