Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

I've recently come upon this product thinking as it was a powder it wouldn't do much for my skin as I've.used quite abrasive face washes in the past. I was wrong. Not only has it been better for my skin I've found my skin less sensitive than it used to be and clears up a lot fast feels smoother and takes my moisturizer much better.

I LOOOOOVE this product! I Love how easy it is to use, I love how not only does my face feel amazing after use but so do my hands. Only slight moan is that Im a shower girl and it is a bit tricky to manage it without getting water in the bottle.

I use my Dermalogica exfoliator each day in the shower; a little shake of the powder into my left hand, use my right hand to gather a bit of water, and then rub my hands together so I don't lose the granules under the power of the shower spray. The granules lather up really nicely and I make sure they're completely dissolved before I start exfoliating. Other exfoliators feel grainy in your hands when you put them onto your face but Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is supposed to dissolve - don't panic! I rub all over my face, especially under eyes (gently!) where I can get a bit of build up, and also all down my neck (don't forget your neck!). It's soft enough to use each day but still polishes and exfoliates really well. Dermalogica isn't cheap but I'm happy to pay the extra dollars to take good care of my skin. I'm not a teenager anymore so I don't need harsh chemicals to control acne - Dermalogica is perfect for skin that's come out of it's awkward phase and is (slowly!) starting to age and mature.

This is the lightest most Multi purpose exfoliator I have ever come across. Light simple use product you can control all aspects of the use of this product. Mix with a light cleanser and it's a quick fast cleanse and exfoliations, mix with a deeper or heavier cleanser and it is a deep mask like exfoliations treatment. It is great just on its own daily or twice a week however you feel it needs to be used. Just on a flaky area? No worries. Just mix it into a paste on your hand and use as you like. No fuss no mess. Just don't tip too much out at once! Limited to no smell, subtle and smooth. This product is quality and really does work. In case you can't tell I really love this. A dermalogica staple.

Was recommended this product as a must have by a makeup artist at TVNZ. It really does help to keep skin smooth and exfoliated without any harsh scrubbing as its a paste not grainy.

I have received a couple of trial size pottles of this product from my beauty salon as freebies. I like to exfoliate my face as it always feels so smooth and helps my makeup go on better and my products absorb better. Some scrubs can be a bit harsh though, especially to use once a week. This product is a fine powder, that comes out of several holes in the top of the pottle. I shake a small amount of powder into my hand, add a few drops of water then spread it over my face before massaging/scrubbing my face with my fingertips. I find it quick and easy to use, and gentle. I often react badly to Dermalogica products but this microfoliant is fine. I think it works ok, I don't use it very often though and wouldn't buy a full size personally.

I got the travel size as a free gift from ulta or I would never have tried it. $58 for the regular size is a pretty hefty price tag for an exfoliant but I would definitely say its worth it if you have the money! my nose is a problem area as far as dead skin and blackheads. just one use and it is so smooth and looks 10x better. I would say the normal size bottle would last quite a while. do not bring this product into the shower. use it when you wash your face in the sink. the steam will cause the powder in the bottle (its a powder that when mixed with water makes a paste) to congeal.

I looooved this product which was lucky enough to receive a trial size of a year or two back. I would totally buy this product again ... if it weren't for the price tag. While I know they have recently lowered their prices, I still can;lt afford to spend a large amount on an exfoliant with a first mortgage under my belt.

I really felt like this product made no difference to my skin. It didn't make it worse, so it didn't irritate the skin or anything, but there was no improvement, it just felt like an extra step that I did in my routine for no reason. I also found it a bit messy/annoying using the powder, I think I prefer to use a conventional exfoliating gel or cleanser.

Who doesn't want smooth skin everyday? Well with this microfoliant you can! I love how you make it up into a paste yourself, it isn't already done for you so you can adjust it to how you like it. Its not harsh on your skin so it doesn't feel like sandpaper every time you rub your face, and it didn't make my skin go red as a tomato. Its simple scent made me feel like I'm not putting too much different fragrances onto my skin when I did my facial routines.
