Was so glad to be part of this trial, ironically I had been looking for a primer for awhile.
I love the lavender scent doesn't is calming and doesnt give the impression of chemicals. The skin coloured product is a bonus as most primers I have used are white.
Used alone: This product disguises my open pores and does an amazing job of controlling my oil slick forehead.
With makeup: Flawless finish and only thing that has given me all day make up.
Tips: If your budget is tight like mine perhaps just use on t zone under makeup.
I was really excited to be given the opportunity to trial this primer. I absolutely love that it is spf 30 as it saves the need for greasy sunscreens on the face. My first impressions are that it has a lovely smell and glides on the skin nicely and gave skin a nice even colour apperance and skin felt lovely and soft. Overall I quite liked this primer but did not feel that it did anything in the way of extending the wear of my foundation which was disappointing.
This is my first trial/review and I was rapt to get such a goodie! The courier arrived when i was in the shower so I got to use the product within minutes of it being delivered and man was I excited. Ive never used a primer before so was keen to see what all the fuss was about. Im prone to hormonal breakouts and redness and wear little makeup as this tends to make it worse.
Day 1 I wore the primer alone with a little mascara, eyeshadow and a little gloss. It gave good coverage and a natural look.
Day 2 I wore with my foundation. To work and then social function. I dont usually wear a lot of makeup so it did feel like I had a lot on initially but soon forgot. I think it made my foundation last longer and I didnt need to reapply for an event after work.
I took a before and after photo and it appeared to have plumped up my skin minimising fine lines and reduced the look of my large pores and teenage acne scars on cheeks.
Tips: Initially when squeezing the tube i thought the colour/tint was too dark for my fair skin but a little definitely goes a long way.
I am currently using this daily and absolutely love the silk feel of this product as well as it's ability to remain on my oily face all day with needing any touching up. My pores appear smaller, my skin looks smoother and more youthful which I believe comes from the silkiness of this product. It's really lovely to use.
Tips: This product is tinted and would only be ok for wearing alone if you have a fair coloured complexion like I don't or if you want to appear to have a fairer complexion. Otherwise, it's awesome under foundation.
This is a wonderful, luxurious product. The soft pink cream blends so easy onto moisturised skin and its so effective that it blurs imperfections. I felt comfortable enough to not wear foundation over it on the weekends. I have freckles and it gave good coverage, and along with foundation gave my skin a polished look. The SPF30 is a big bonus. I have fair skin which I like to protect. This product is high protection but you wouldn't know it from the lovely pearlised formulation. Well done.
Tips: Just a little goes along way. Would be good applied with make up brush.

This primer is fantastic for covering up all those annoying spots or blemishes on your face, it gives great coverage, without making your make up look cakey. It also helps to plump out the fine lines.
It has a flesh colour, and has a silicon feel to it, and very light in texture, It glides over smoothly and blends extremely well. It has a very pleasant smell to it,
The SPF factor is an added bonus
It doesn't start to flake during the day and has good staying power.
My new favourite primer, will be using this for a long time to come.
I was skeptical that this was just another "magical primer" as I've tried many others in the past, however my opinion soon changed. After only one day of using it people were starting to make comments - asking if i had changed my make-up. My make-up lasts hours longer than it did previously and I no longer have oily looking skin at the end of the day. It helps to keep my make-up in tact and perfectly smooth all day no matter the weather! It only uses a small amount each day to maintain a flawless make-up look. I would highly recommend this primer!

Does what it says on the box! This is a wonderful smooth primer with the distinctive Dermalogica herbal scent. A little goes a very long way. Provides beautiful coverage, can easily be worn alone (better on my 38 year old skin than a BB cream!) and diverts light out of those little eye creases! This makes my regular foundation last forever when I do apply it over top, and the silky satin smooth feel makes me feel like a glamourpuss!
Tips: Definitely consider wearing alone if your skin needs more than BB cream!
Trial it through a salon - they'll be able to give you a small sample before you outlay all that cash!
Never have I used a primer that was tinted! I loved that I could use it under foundation, or on it's own.
I found the consistency to be quite light and silky feeling, gliding over my skin easily and effortlessly. It was really fast to apply which is good for those morning where you're in a hurry. It's not perfumed but can't describe what it smelt like, but found it to have a weird smell when applying. I couldn't smell it once it was applied to my skin. It covers quite well, I have red cheeks and nose and it covered it easily, without me having to wear foundation over the top. It does even out skin texture while creating a smooth surface as it states (once applied my skin felt silky and smooth) however, I never really noticed it to fill in lines as it states but that's most likely because I don't notice lines on my face (yet!)
All in all I found it to be a really nice product to use, making my skin feel nice and silky and looking good on it's own or under foundation however, I probably wouldn't purchase it myself as its around $88 for a 22ml tube. I personally find it a tad expensive!
Tips: use under foundation for a night out or on its own for a light coverage
I was so excited to receive this product, as I had actually never worn a primer before! I had high hopes because of it's retail price, and I was certainly not let down!
The packaging is incredibly great quality and the full instruction sheet is also super helpful!
The product itself is in a really easy to use tube and it lets just the perfect amount of primer out.
The primer is so smooth and light to apply and leaves your skin smooth and feeling as if you haven't put anything on! So awesome! Instantly the redness on my cheeks was less noticable. I would def wear this without foundation.
It also smelt SO nice! Felt like you were giving yourself a little pamper as well as treating your skin and hiding blemishes. Awesome all in one! Highly recommend :)
The only down side I have found is that if you put it too close to your eyes they do sting. I battled with stinging eyes and it might have been the fragrance? Not entirely sure!
Tips: Don't apply too close to your eyes!
