I find the illuminators in the DB range to be ok for low end / low budget products. I found you have to use quite a bit of product to get the desired effect although it doesn't really last as long as other brands. The packaging is small enough that you can take it with you for a top up if required.

I love this little gem of a illuminator. Designer Brands is known for budget products and I have happily used some. It is a versatile little product. I have used it on my cheeks and eyebrows with great results. It is simple to apply and the sponge applicator is handy. I dab iton with the sponge and then blend with my finger tips. The wee bottle it comes in is small enough to fit into your make up purse in case you need to freshen up during the day.
I was happily surprised with this purchase. When I bought it I honestly was expecting it to be terrible, but boy was I surprised! The applicator is similar to those found in most lip-glosses, which is handy because it means you don’t put too much on at once. Consistency wise, it is a lovely creamy formulae that blends out beautifully. I have personally found that it works great when applied under foundation as is gives a healthy ‘inner glow’ look. The pinky silvery shimmer is perfect for my pale skin, as it gives a natural glowy look. Packaging is not overly appealing but it is easy to use, and I suppose you can’t expect too much for such a cheap price. Overall I really love this product for pale complexions, I’m not too sure how it would go on people with warmer undertones or olive skin due to its pinky silvery reflect.
Tips: Try applying it under your foundation for a more subtle look. I have also found that it works great in the under eye area, to give a more awake look.
A very nice product with and interesting design has a lip balm applicator and a little goes a fair way with this product. Creamy formula and I got free with a quad that I bought so it was worth it. On its own I may consider re buying but I would look at how much you get vs other products and powders. This formula is good for dry skin comes in a nice pinky white shade and theres another type as well I love how it has things to nourish the skin and care for it in the long run thats what would make me want to buy it again the description above also makes it look like it has multi uses which is great in my books.
This was one of my first dabbles into liquid highlighters. At such a great price I had to try it.
Packaging wise this comes in a clear plastic container with a black handle which has the applicator on the end. The applicator is similar to that of the applicator of a lip gloss.
Inside the bottle the hi-lighter has a creamy shimmery pink look.
I decided to apply this last to the tops of my cheek bones, nose, cupids bow and a little dot on my forehead and chin over the top of my foundation.
The applicator made it really easy to apply, it glided on easily and smoothly. It shows up as a white/pinky shimmery type shade - a little bit thicker than I had expected. I used my fingertip to blend and this was very easily blendable. It blended well and didnt leave any visible edges or streaks.
This was a nice bright hi-light, it left a nice fresh luminous glow without being sparkly or having any obvious bits of glitter or anything. Gave me a nice fresh glow.
This lasted well during my day.
Overall I was really happy with this purchase and would definately purchase again especially at such a great price. Not that you would need to repurchase in some time as a little goes a long way this would last you a long time.
