This perfume is in a league of its own. While there are many perfumes that are considered to be similar (Estee Lauder-Sensious Noir for example), none of them come close to this. This perfume is a perfect blend of rose and patchouli. It is incredibly long lasting and is the perfect scent for winter.

Dior Midnight Poison Review
DIOR Midnight Poison, created by François Demachy perfumer-creator for Dior. Midnight Poison was composed with a captivating yet elusive seductress in mind.
Its singular signature is that of the queen of flowers, the rose, but a black and mysterious one set against a backdrop of patchouli and the aphrodisiac effects of amber. In its wake lies a metamorphosis of extraordinary sensuality.

Tips: Try before you buy. I have found this perfume to be quite jarring based on what others have said when they have smelt it.
I have used this perfume and find it just as captivating as Hypnotic Poison... it lasts long, has a subtle undertone of sweetness and a bit of mystery in it too... smells divine.... and will definitely purchase again.... worth a try for those who love sweet smells as well as those with a secret undertone that you just cant seem to place but love anyway.... :)
Beautiful, this is my second most favourite perfume, anytime, day or night. Stays on, even when I think I can no longer smell it, everyone else can.
Tips: I always spray in the air and walk into it, doesn't smell like you have bathed in perfume then!
I tried this by my own choosing after been curious as to how Dior could make another darling perfume like Hypnotic poison. This is a less sweet option with still a long lasting delicious scent which goes a mile. I like to wear it when I need to feel mature or going to a big meeting etc. Again it is expensive and never goes on sale however its well worth it.
Tips: Ladies this is a great investment. Don't use it everyday but keep it on the vanity!
This was the first perfume I ever bought myself and will always have a special place in my heart. I love the slightly unusual and "sexy" scent - it gets the right balance of rose and patchouli which makes it memorable and distinctive without being overpowering. The spice adds a lovely touch and I would always get compliments wearing it. Plus the bottle is absolutely gorgeous.
I know this is meant to be for night but it I loved it so much it became my signature scent for over 2 years. It has a lovely fresh spiciness that cuts through the rose and stops it being too floral.
I love Dior's poison range and the midnight poison is no exception. Its cute for one in its fat rounded bottle with its rounded lid, in a lovely shade of blue that seems to get darker the closer you get to the bottom of the bottle. As with all Dior perfumes the quality of the packaging is superb, and the spritz/atomiser is flawless and never fails on me which means an even coverage of perfume.
Scent on this one is hard to describe, my nose picks up the vanilla and woody side but with a muted lemon smell to it, that lingers on my skin to be a warm vanilla that is slightly spicy, it always gets me compliments when I wear it and it lasts for a while without touch ups, normally I wear this on evenings out with family and I never reapply it out, but still when bedtime rolls around I still smell it slightly on my wrists.
If you like a sexy fragrance then this one is great. Every time I wear it someone comments on how good I smell. Its quite strong when first sprayed on the skin but after about 20 mins of warming on the skin it becomes divine.
Tips: Hold back from the skin about 20cm when spraying and let it mist on your skin to get the best result
I love the names of this collection. I love the packaging and the little "CD" seal you get on it. It makes you feel important when you open it for the first time. This is so much better than the Pure Poison. I've used this one before my current perfume (Pure Poison - the only reason I got it was because I couldn't get Midnight Poison) and it's a lot better over time. It's more suited for evenings though, in my opinion, but I wore it in daytime as well. It smells really good, I think it's the best one in the collection - it also lasts a whole lot longer than some of the others. My verdict: If you want a Dior Poison perfume, don't get anything other than this.
Out of all the Poisons this is my fave, (I can't stand the original, don't really care for pure poison, quite like Hypnotic but it is a bit too cloying on me and sweet, and Tendre is delcious but sadly discontinued) I think I like this as it is reminiscent of my fave Estee Lauder Sensuous noir with lots of dark patchouli and amber however I prefer the Sensuous noir as it has pine and benzoin notes which deepen it and make it more complex. This is definitely a great perfume though.
Tips: Similar to Sensuous noir but in no way the same - still very different fragrances.
