Dove Facial Foam Go Fresh

I usually find Dove products to be quite luxurious and kind to my skin. This particular wash did feel lovely going on and it didn't need much to get a good foam going on. Upon washing it off though, it did leave my skin feeling squeaky clean and not in a nice way. Quite unexpectedly harsh. I don't believe it's done my skin any damage, but I do believe it is more drying than Dove products usually tend to be. Having not tried the product that this superseded, I've nothing to compare it to but even though it was budget friendly, don't think I'll buy again.

I used this product being a poor uni student and I really liked it. I only stopped using it when I could afford the likes of Clinique. I found the scent really nice and refreshing. It definitely helped me wake up in the morning. I like the texture of this product, it's quite thick but also foams up well so you don't need a lot. My skin felt really soft and moisturised and it doesn't leave any oily residue. I always use moisturiser after cleansing but didn't feel like I needed to with this one. I would definitely use this again if on a budget.

I currently have this orange one, but have tried the other varieties of this too- they are all the same. I got this because I like dove soaps and thought this would be good to have in the shower to wash my face with. It smells nice and fresh. It is thick and creamy so it is easy to squeeze the right amount out ( especially in the shower with wet hands etc). It foams well and does a good job of cleaning my face. It was a bit drying leaving my skin feeling tight and in need of moisturiser. I didn't experience any breakouts. It stung my eyes like no tomorrow. I don't have time to carefully cleanse my face in sections- I just wanted something to slap over my face in the shower but this needs special care to avoid getting even the tiniest bit in your eyes or feel the burn. I don't think I have encountered this problem with any other brand of cleanser.

This is surprisingly drying for a Dove product. I found that after using it my face felt uncomfortably tight and dry.

It also doesn't rinse off easily and feels greasy.

On a positive note it foams up well and smells nice but that's where it stops.

Dove can be accessed at most stores. Doves known for having hydrating and moisturising products. I wanted to try this out because I am a fan of Doves products.

This bottle comes in a 110 ml. I think that that's not really that big. The outside of this tube has the Dove branding on the outside. The consistency of this cleanser is like a moisturiser but it seems to be foamy and light. The scent of it is light and fresh. Like always Doves products always smell good.

When I apply cleanser, I always clean my face beforehand. After that I apply this cleanser all over my face. I didn't have any reactions to this, thankfully. My skin felt clean and soft after it. I didn't experience any drying because I always follow this with a moisturiser afterwards.

I think price wise it could be little cheaper considering the amount of product you get and it wouldn't last a month at that size. All up is an ok product.

I was so excited to trial this product out, I am a fan of foam cleansers, I found this product to be quite awful for my skin. I already have dry sensitive skin that from time to time breaksout in excema if my skin doesnt have the proper moisturisers, it dryed out my skin and felt so bad, I was so disgusted with the product I asked for a refund of the product from the company, which they were happy to give.
