I can’t remember where I got this shampoo from but probably from my gym, which often gives out deluxe samples of products for people to try. I ended up with a couple of these, and the matching conditioners, so ending up using them over the course of a month or so. The shampoo is like all Dove haircare I have tried, in that it is quite a thick formula. It lathers up really well however – I only need a small amount to smooth it through my hair, which is reasonably long. After using this my hair feels soft and manageable. I don’t have coloured hair (virgin hair right here!) so I cannot comment on if it made my hair colour last longer. However my hair did feel good after using this and I would buy it again. My only gripe is the shape of the packaging – the domed lid means that when it runs low I cannot leave it in my shower to drain to the bottom. All in all a great product and combined with the matching conditioner gives soft, shiny and manageable hair.

Dove Colour Radiance Shampoo
Reviews
I bought this shampoo for its "Low Sulfate" claim. I thought it would be a cheaper alternative that would help my hair. How wrong was I!!! My hair gets oily in a day now, I used to be able to go 3 days without a shampoo, wet or dry. Now I have to shampoo daily! Not impressed. My hair is also quite limp and lifeless. I won't buy this again and definitely wouldn't recommend that others try it. I have coloured hair and didn't notice any difference from any other shampoo in radiance etc.
I bought this shampoo (and conditioner) from the supermarket. I was looking to try something different as well as something for coloured hair. As I have purple and pink ombre hair which is really hard upkeep...so I like products that help it last longer and do not trip the colour. So I grabbed this shampoo because it had less sulphate in it! Sulphate is nasty stuff that strips my beautiful colour away!!
I found this shampoo to be really thick, but in a good way. A little goes a long way. It smells great! Did not leave my hair feeling matted like some sulphate free shampoos do.
As for helping my colour last longer... well I do not know whether it made a huge difference. But every time I shampooed I still had quite a bit of wash out.
I currently colour my hair a scarlet red and this leaves my roots feeling quite dry. I couldn't find my usual colour shampoo at the supermarket, so I decided to give this a go. The shampoo comes in a generously sized 320ml bottle for the price. The bottle is a classy white and pink. The shampoo has a thick, creamy white consistency and a pleasant, but generic shampoo scent. I was disappointed to see this had sulfates as the second ingredient in this, especially as the bottle says 'Lower Sulfate Shampoo'. Since using the shampoo my hair colour at my roots has remained very vibrant and no colour has been stripped out, so I am happy that this held up to that end of the bargain. As for nourishing colour-damaged hair, it didn't do that. This left my hair feeling much drier and more stiff than using regular shampoo. My hair also tended to get oilier and need more washing since using the shampoo.
Overall, this was an okay product, but I wouldn't leap out to purchase it again.
This may be a bit of a premature review as I have only used it twice. My hair is dark at the roots and gradually goes from dark to light purple. I have always enjoyed Dove shampoos but don't buy them often as I have 4 daughters and a $7 bottle may only last 2 days! Anyway, there was quite a bit more colour loss than I was expecting, I was expecting a lot more of it to hold. I didn't notice any difference between this and the shampoo I'd used previously. My hair feels nice, maybe a bit oily at the roots but I have been having trouble with that lately anyway. I probably won't repurchase this one.
I usually switch my shampoo up each time I do the grocery shopping. I have tried quite a few in the dove range and as I dye my hair I thought I better try the colour radiance. It comes in a random 320ml bottle with a flip top lid.
It says it is a lower sulphate shampoo with colour revitaliser which nourishes colour damaged hair and keeps colour looking vibrant. This is exactly what I need! It has a lovely creamy consistency and a devine fruity fragrance.
You don't need to use much as it lathers so well. It leaves my hair feeling clean and tangle free. I get a very tiny amount of colour wash out which I am happy with. I use this with the matching conditioner and my hair looks healthy and my colour is fresh and vibrant.
A great affordable supermarket shampoo which I would definitely repurchase. Keep an eye out at New World as it is often on special.
Dove never disapoints. However i couldent tell that this shampoo did anything els to my hair than the rest of their shampoos. My hair stil felt soft and sleek but i couldent tell that it did anything for my colourd hair
this shampoo is gorgeous, the smell, the feel on my hair and the way it doesn't leave it greasy! Sometimes products give me dry ends but this shampoo allows my hair to come out feeling healthy and shiny. I use in conjunction with the conditioner and also love the intensive conditioning treatment. Highly recommended.
Tips: you don't need much at all!
