Dove Go Fresh Cucumber & Green Tea Roll On Deodorant Review

I should've read these Beauty Reviews before buying this product!! I've been using this for about a month as an ANTIPERSPIRANT! Whoops! It's only a deodorant! So my critique is half based on the fact that this wasn't clear to me or, by the looks of it, many other people! And secondly I'm not writing home about its ability as a Deodorant either.

So as an antiperspirant, this product is NOT designed to protect you from sweat and it most definitely doesn't do that as an added bonus or anything. Haha. It's just meant to be a nice smell under your arms - which I think is a little bit odd. I have always opted for an antiperspirant without any particular scent and then just used body sprays or perfumes. If you are using this product without antiperspirant, be warned that the nice smell doesn't stick around if you're sweating. I actually felt like it made me smell worse as the mix of sweat and this scent was a little bit off for me.

I do love Dove but I think I'll just stick to their antiperspirants from now on! :)

This is a really nice affordable deodorant option. Its smells fantastic and isn't too strong to be really overpowering. My only thing with this one is that it doesn't work as well for longer periods of time like other brands do. It would need further application or application more frequently and won't quite push out to the 24hrs protection mark!

I tried this roll on simply because i like its packaging & it smelt really nice, I am usually quite picky with roll on and to this day I still haven't found one I 100% like. I find that any dove product dries out my skin - including moisturizers & hair care so for a roll on it i thought it would be quite good (hence the drying out my skin part). But in saying that it didn't leave my skin feeling soft therefore it didn't do what it said it would do.

The deodorant itself works well. It smells lovely and fresh. I wore it to the gym and had no issues; I didn't feel uncomfortably sweaty during the workout etc.

My main issue with this product is its consistency. I find it slightly too 'creamy' and I find this can be mildly irritating to my sensitive skin.

I have much better luck with the spray-on version of this scent and brand.

The smell is divine but it doesn't last, i also dislike using roll on's as i feel unhygenic, i would deffinitley get this roll on for school girls who have just started to experiment with deoderant

While I have found some of the other dove deodorants fine, I could not stand the fake cucumber smell of this one. Used it once, never again - what a waste :(

My review title says it all! I really don't like this product. At first the scent was ok, but once it was on me, it seemed to react to my skin & smelt terrible! It made me sweat really bad which isn't normal. Not nice at all for me! Changed back to my normal one & didn't have any problems after that

I used Dove Roll On as it was on Special.. I wouldn't use Dove again.. found it made my underarms itchy..

Bought this as i smelt a friend wearing it and liked the initial smell. I dont know if i just sweat more than everyone else but You definately need an anti-perspirant underneath!!! It smells nice and fresh but if you are sweating it sort of mixes in and multiplies to make it stronger so when you were actually trying to mask future body odour it actually magnifies it in the end. doesnt last as long as i would have liked either. The rest of the bottle sits almost full on my drawer, i doubt ill be using the rest anytime soon.

Not mad keen on these. I usually buy organic but thought I would try this one out. I found it left my underarms a little stingy/itchy (this is why I went organic to begin with) and you get this white flakeyness stuck to your skin. It does smell good though.
