Dove Summer Glow Review

I purchased this from the Warehouse sometime ago. I use it mainly on my legs. I have mine in normal to dark skin. After i have a shower I apply this to my legs. The product itself is a light pink thick cream which once applied will give your skin a sun-kissed glow and will build a gradual light tan.

I love the way this works on my skin. It comes in really handy in winter if I want to look tan for something. This is a moisturiser that i use all year round. It's relatively easy to apply though I would make sure you get even application as if not applied properly can look patchy. I always like to make sure that i get it on my feet and keeping my knee straight when apply so I don't get orange patches in these areas.

I love the smell its a fresh floral scent. My skin feels hydrated and soft. The tan itself gives a nice light one which is noticeable after just one application. It's crazy affordable. I picked up a big pump bottle of it today at Pak N Save for only $5.00 I'm currently using a 250ml bottle of it.

This stuff is really good to use it every day and you don't need to use another moisturiser if you are using this once a day (unless you have really dry skin). You can get dressed soon after using this but you do want to watch out with light colours, all tanning products are a worry in regards to white clothes. I like how it is more subtle than fake tan but you can use it with fake tan as well. Last for ages too.

It's that time of year - we're getting the *very* odd warmer day, where jeans are every now and then being shunned for shorts (and a long top, because it's still winter and I'm not crazy!)- oh and I have to get my pins out for a conference in a weeks time (I'm not showing off my legs, just wearing cocktail dresses for two nights). Out comes the trusty Dove Summer Glow!

I love the way that this is perfect for an un-co like me. I've tried using proper tan products but it ends up streaky and patchy and freaky looking! With Dove Summer Glow I can shave, exfoliate and moisturise and after a few applications I've got the colour I want - which is a subtle light brown, with no streaks!

The smell isn't my favourite, but it's still a lot better than a previous product I'd used, my only real moan is that I hate having to wait for it to sink in before I get dressed - but for perfectly tanned pins, I guess them's the breaks kids ;)

If you're a novice to tanning this is worth a shot.

This is my favourite self tanning moisturiser. It smells good (compared to other tanners) and it is nice and creamy. You see results within hours and I rarely get streaks.

Have used this the last few years, find it great because it is subtle. Can usually get it for a bargain at the Supermarket. Other cheaper products I have tried have left my skin too orange. I do find that this ends up patchy on my knees and ankles if I don't exfoliate/moisturise these areas first

This is an excellent product. It is cheap, easy to source (supermarket) and easy to apply. The low level of tint in the product means only the most careless of users can get streaks *ahemMum*. The fact it is also a moisturiser is perfect for time-poor people like me. The end colour is natural-looking and it is easy to control how dark you go. A solid all-round winner of a product.

This lotion is just like moisturiser so it doesn't turn you orange straight away like some tanners. It smells nice and does leave my skin nice and smooth. I applied several days in a row and got a slight colour change. In a way this is good because it doesn't leave tou looking fake. However, if you are looking for a darker or faster tan, I wouldn't recommend using this product.

I found this product great, gave me the slightly sun kissed look I was going for, my legs are quite fear in the winter and using this gave me that slight tan look that did not look fake. Prolonged use gave the best results, My legs are quite dry and the dove summer glow gave a great moister to my legs. Great product for the price

I purchased this in the summer to help pro long my fake tan. I have dry skin and the consistency is that of a moisturiser (definitely thicker than a lotion) so it was enough to use as a moisturiser when I got out of the shower. I didn't mind the smell, even though I know some people hate it. To me it smelt like herbal essence shampoo. I am medium skin tone, and tan easily in the sun in summer but I avoid the sun baking because I'm now in my late 20's and already have dry skin so I am trying to take care of it as much as possible. I find it doesn't give great results on its own. But, if you get a fake tan and you use this in the mornings after a shower it will make the fake tan last that extra few days. It is definitely worth the price. The amount of product makes this last for quite awhile.

If you're looking for a quick and easy tan the Dove Summer Glow is the product for you! Its so affordable and it is literally sold anywhere! I purchase this from my local super market :) I was really happy with my results! I would apply the tan before I went to bed and then in the morning I would be so happy with the results! I find after a week or so the tan will start to go patchy so I would remove it and then re apply :) the colour was great for me and my friends would comment on how tan I looked!! You either love or hate the smell of this product - I love it :) I recommend you giving the Dove Summer Glow a go!
