Dove Summer Glow Review

I use this lotion at the beginning of "short season" to stop snowblinding people with my white legs! Its really does only take a couple of days to make a difference and unlike fake tans it is really easy to apply and smells nice!

This is great at maintaining your tan or taking any glare from winter legs! It's moisturising, non irritating and smells ok. I really like it!

A good product and it is a good gradual tan. I have used the product for some time and for the cost and ease of use I think you would be hard pressed to find something better. Good to use in the lead up to summer when you first bear your legs for the start of summer.

I bought this when on holiday as a mosituriser as i got quite sunburnt. After applying every couple of hours the burn had gone and my skin was starting to look normal again. I have been using this for around a year and is fantastic at keeping a gradual tan all year round. One of the best I have ever used, just got to be careful that you dont use too much as it is possible to go a little bit orange

I really like Dove summer glow, it is a great product for a GRADUAL tan. I think that it is important that people realize it is suppose to be gradual. There are a few things I dislike about this product though. 1st of all the smell...uugghh not very pleasant at all. It has that chemically tanned smell that actually lasts quite a while. 2nd thing I dislike is the texture, its really thick so takes ages to dry. 3rd thing I dont really like is the bottle/packaging. When stored upside-down its really wobbly. But on a good note I find the actual colour to be great. I apply it every other day and its great for keeping a spray-tan moisturised and looking fresh. The price is perfect for this product, its not the bee's knees but its pretty good.

I used this product to put a bit of colour in my legs before I went into hospital, just to make me feel a bit better! Worked really well, and after only 2 nights of application. I only wanted a slight tan, so this was great for me.

I feel that this product accentuates your natural skin colour by giving it a nice 'glow'. It does gradually build up but nothing too drastic. I guess that is why I like it so much though. I've never been brave enough to get a spray tan out of fear of being orange so this is a nice alternative. The one thing that I warn you about is that after a few showers or a while in the water it can start to run or glug into spots. I usually get a nice spot of orangey goodness in between my boobs, but that is also due to my lack of exfoliation as well haha. Overall a great product and subtle alternative to spray tanning.

i've used this for a few years now and have always been pleased with the results, although a few of my friends who are fairer then me have ended up with it looking very orange on them.

I used this religiously a few years ago, but then stopped tanning regularly when i moved to Dunedin...as there was no need to ever get the legs out with it being so cold and all! However, when I did used to use this product I LOVED it. I was reminded of this product when I saw it was available for review on BR and I had this urge to return to using it!. I felt it does just what it says it will. Dove is always known for its moisturizing and creamy products and I felt this was no different, it was really smooth. It provided a nice colour to my legs, not orange or muddy brown, just natural. I also really liked the smell, it wasn't too overpowering. Everything about this product is just right *Those bears and Goldilocks sure would be happy*

The best lotion/tanner to get a subtle all over colour and glow without using a product specifically designed for tanning. I love how easy it is to use and takes absolutely no extra time after showering....just moisturise like usual!
